Emphasis on the fifth round. Can we start the 2025 draft chatter thread?

Why?Can we start the 2025 draft chatter thread?
It's depressing and makes me just not even want to acknowledge the Cowboys until draft time. What's the point in thinking about this current train wreck.I didn't have a good feeling about this upcoming season and that was BEFORE free agency hit.
Now?
I can't see us winning more than 8 games.
What a ridiculous response to the worst playoff showing in franchise history.
Fuck that family.
What gets better at draft time? It's depressing and makes me just not even want to acknowledge the Cowboys until draft time. What's the point in thinking about this current train wreck.
Big time. Dak will be lucky to survive with this cast. We can’t stop the run and can’t run or hold up against the pass. This is a seven win team.We hit our high point when Jimmah was inducted.
I mean I enjoy the draft. Call me a sucker, I get it. But it's the only time we get to add talent. Hopefully it's not a train wreck of a draft. What gets better at draft time?
We get the idea that since "we draft well" that we get more happy horseshit shoved down our throats?
Last year's debacle does not buy any fucking slack as far as I am concerned.
This draft is very lackluster to me to begin with and then you add in the fact it is thin at what is needed, yeah, sounds like good things are coming in April.I mean I enjoy the draft. Why?
We would have fucked up that FA class too and we would be exactly where we are now.
Might as well.Why?

makes Goof Son's fat jowls jiggle.
The worst part to me is we don't have shit for draft capital. This draft is very lackluster to me to begin with and then you add in the fact it is thin at what is needed, yeah, sounds like good things are coming in April.
I mean we have a small fortune in cap room next year. But only like 30 some players under contract. And with a worse cap situation after extending Dak, Lamb and Parsons.

I mean if we extend Dak it probably drops his number next year. Lamb's extension would definitely eat up a portion of the cap room since he isn't under contract. But the way these things are done he wouldn't have a big cap hit. Most these guys make near league minimum the first year because they get a big old signing bonus spread over 5 years or whatever. And Parsons would probably initially reduce his number as well. Now, yes, but I expect our upcoming extensions to fill up most of that. That doesn't have to be the case but I don't expect us to actually enter an offseason with the appearance that we could actually spend.
The dumbest part about this whole idea is that you either lose Dak for nothing or you extend Dak. Here is a brilliant idea, flip Dak and get some fucking picks.I think I've figured it out.
Stephen doesn't think Dak is good enough to extend. Daddy Jerry loves Dak like a Garrett. So Stephen is going to not sign anyone so when we suck, he can say, see, he's not a good enough QB to give all that money
It almost makes as much sense as anything else?
But…we could trade down…yeah. The worst part to me is we don't have shit for draft capital.
I mean I would. We kind of have to. It's not like we can really take BPA at 24 unless it's an Olineman anyway. But…we could trade down…yeah.
