We need that family to sell the team.

Sadly, it's like a family heirloom so I don't think they'll ever sell it.

And because every member of the family who comes up through the organization sees it being run the same way, they too are going to want to have the last word and be involved in all the football matters.

So long as that family owns the team, we're fucked.

Maybe family heirloom isn't the right analogy. It's more that owning the Cowboys raises a clan of trailer trash rednecks to a level of visibility and respectability they could never hope for otherwise. At best, a clan like this might own a string of sleazy used car dealerships in rural Arkansas.

But as long as they play the roles of owning and managing an NFL franchise, they really have no motivation to ratchet up the operation to win a SB.

You'd think that KC assuming the title of America's Team might bother Jerry. Obviously it doesn't.

Yep, I wasn't freaking out yesterday, but now some guys who could really help are going for reasonable prices.

There's only one way this is okay, and that's if they really don't plan to give Dak an extension.

Yeah, it is like they are setting up a failure for the season. These fucktards can’t operate with a sense of urgency for that with everyone on a one year deal. I have yet to see any organization win a championship under that set of circumstances. It is more likely to implode and do it quickly.
