I'm wary of Texas guys pimping Texas players.

Sometimes I wonder if they realize there's a whole NCAA world outside of Texas.

Who TF is Dominic White and how exactly does he think he can "normalize" what the team thinks about a draft prospect on Twitter?

Maybe next he can inform the team about kickers from Arizona?

No the fuck we won’t.
I just watched two of his games pretty closely and anybody arguing for him at 24 is insane.

He's awesome attacking downhill, very explosive and eats up ground quickly, but the rest of his game is kind of uneven. He's a bit heavy-footed in coverage, not great in his drops or moving laterally. Against the run he's solid but misdiagnoses a good bit and just kind of gets caught up in the wash without really being able to consistently weave through traffic to the ball.

I could see him playing a Barr-like role in Zimmer's scheme with his ability to blitz but there's no chance he'd be anywhere near the BPA at 24. Looks like a guy who should go somewhere around 40-50ish, I'd love him in the 2nd, but anybody arguing for him at 24 is completely off the reservation.

No idea what the heck Jeremiah is doing with him in the early 20's but hey.

I mean that's to be expected. The higher the pick the better quality of player you usually get. Not exactly sure what the point of the graph is.
apparently, we're not so great from the 4th round on.

The hit rate on Day 3 is not dogshit. But a lot of that is because they are drafted, they stick around longer, making a draft look “successful” if a pick languishes on the roster until their rookie contract runs out.

At first I asked, who the fuck is Dan Rogers? Then I did a Google search, and found this:

"Dan Rogers is an Engineer at Hewlett Packard who lives in the Pacific Northwest. He's been a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys and has been writing about them for 10 years through Yahoo Sports, Blogging the Boys, and WFAA (Fort Worth affiliate of ABC). Because of his science background, his articles are often filled with analytics, trends, and predictions. He also has experience in video editing and loves to feature film breakdowns in his articles. Dan also produces and co-hosts a weekly podcast, The Star Seminar." .

So this makes him a fucking expert on the draft? Or on anything except laser printers?

He's been writing about them for 10 years. So has any asshole know-nothing with a keyboard and a modem.

This is the problem with the internet and social media. It gives a voice to anyone and everyone, irrespective of credentials or background or qualifications. Why does anyone pay any attention to a dickhead like this guy?

Patrick Moynihan said, "Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but not their own set of facts."

Someone less famous said, "Opinions are like assholes; everyone's got one."

You do not have to be so Hostile.

All of those Blogging the Boys dudes are basically by products of message boards, that turned into blogs and now podcasts. Most were tools on the message boards, but at least they made something of themselves.

They don't know shit, it's basically just a message board with a blow horn and Twitter accounts. They aren't bad guys, but everybody nowadays loves to pass themselves off as experts on social media on whatever their narrow topic du jour is.

Mel Kiper is a product of relentless self promotion. He never spent a minute on any NFL team is any capacity, yet he turned his talent for self promotion into a draft guru status. His record of accuracy for his predictions is abysmal.

This sounds like what Booze wants us to become. Did they even do a podcast?
