The chickens that we were talking about with the Eagles last year are finally coming home to roost.
They got extremely lucky with injuries last season, they were kind of redlining things with Hurts as a runner and they had a bunch of guys on one year/expiring deals that they weren't going to be able to keep.
Fast forward to this year and now that they finally are dealing with a few injuries their pass defense is putrid and their offense is grinding to a halt outside of Hurts running with a few 50/50 balls mixed in that Brown makes great individual plays on.
They're still a good team but they're a house of cards. The 49ers are an actual elite team who I think can absorb injuries and keep things moving, despite yesterday. The Eagles on the other hand are completely fucked if their OL isn't operating at 100% capacity, primarily because their QB is really just a souped up RB.
