17 offensive points. Not nearly good enough.
Yeah, the unit needs work.

Redzone is the obvious #1, but I think McCarthy needs to look at some things on his end as well.

I don't mind the offensive design as a whole, but I do think we need to mix in more down the field stuff and we need to be looking at how we're using our RBs as well.

Chargers went for it on 4th again on their side of the field (34 yard line and up by 7). Didnt make it. Now Raiders can tie or go ahead with 3 mins left.

It's concerning how we've voided parts of the field to attack.

It's not. But I wonder if we haven't leaned more conservative with the way the game has been going. Don't really have to push it, since we're easily in control of this game.
I would definitely say we have been more conservative in the second half. Up by 25 kind of brings that out. We also went for it on fourth down when we could have easily kicked a field goal. That was the coaches just trying to get some TDs.

Really disappointed that they've essentially turned him into Cole Beasley-lite.
The passing game is quicker and shorter as a way to limit mistakes and reduce the pressure on Dak.

Again, I don't necessarily disagree with this philosophy as a whole but I just think we're overdoing it.

We've got to be more aggressive in spurts and open it up and let guys like Cooks play to their strengths.

The funny thing is, with Dak Prescott it's not even the down the field stuff that he struggles with. It's the shorter stuff in the middle of the field that has always given him problems and yet we're calling those plays more frequently than we were before.

I'm not worried yet because I think Mike McCarthy is a good coach and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he can figure it out.

If we're still looking at the same issues come November, then I'm gonna panic.

"A really solid team."

New England is about to be 1-3. Not sure I'd call them solid.
