Dak has won quite a few games late for us.

FWIW Dak has 12 4th quarter comebacks. Mahomes has 13 in one less year. Not a huge difference.

I'm more concerned about consistency in the calls. If it's a penalty in the 4th quarter then call the same the whole game. They were letting things go all game, letting the DB's get handsy. Then they call that. If you're calling it all game then call it. Don't pick and choose. That's my complaint.

My thoughts are that the Eagles are league darlings for some reason and get all the calls in their favor as opposed to us who have demonstrably all the calls go against us.

But again, the longer that Tyron Smith is out, the need will grow. I don't think we can just hope Edoga holds it down.

Stephen said if they thought Tyron was going to be out an extended period of time they'd have moved Tyler to LT, so I assume that means he'll miss no more than the next two at the absolute most, with a decent chance he plays this week.

Fine, if you're not calling it the first 3 quarters don't start in the 4th. Be consistent.

And even then, the narrative would be he was only along for the ride. The defense carried him, the other team fucked up, or some other excuse.

Some uninformed and stubborn folks would still say that, it's only human nature for a lot of people to stick with their "Dak sucks" narrative no matter what.

No QB succeeds without help, and there is no precise formula for greatness. It's one of those things you know when you see it.

As for Burrow, it's clear to me that years of getting the shit beat out of him are claiming their toll.

This was the choice that team made, to go Chase over Sewell. Chase gave them the capability to play offense at the highest levels, but Sewell would have helped saved Burrow from what's clearly been a lot of wear and tear.

This is what I'm talking about. The hold decided the game, not the ref for calling it. Focusing on the flag coming out late is not the right focus. It was literally a penalty.
