Ferguson had a big block on Pollard's TD too, which was one or two plays after Adams swiping at his facemask. He may have even been blocking Adams on the play.

To all of you Dak haters...

Don’t be to quick to annoint Dak as being ready for all opponents. There were several times in the game where he would revert to his bad habits and allowed the Seattle Club to stay in the game. Fortunately he came through when the chips were down and managed to execute while under duress. I can only hope he stays focused and doesn’t retreat to his statue imitation and freeze rather than becoming mobile and working out of the pocket. It remains to be seen how he will react to a defense that goes all out to take him down . The rest of the schedule has some defensive Teams in the upper tier of wins and losses that can put a QB under duress.

I'm really starting to love the guy. He may not be a dynamic route runner but gosh there is so much else to love. He has good hands, he runs people over, he jumps over people, he is actually pretty athletic looking on the field (Forty time workout numbers be damned) and he is a very good blocker who enjoys it.

Dak did not do a single thing to "keep Seattle in the game" and was in fact the only reason we had any chance of winning given the ridiculous defensive display over the first 3 quarters.

cut his ass

This is what I was talking about when I said him and Dak are on the same page, almost a mind meld of sorts. Based on the coverage and leverage of the defenders Dak is throwing it to a spot knowing Lamb will be thinking, or at least aware, of something similar.

There is absolutely nothing there with the coverage but they're just so synced up mentally they can make it happen regardless. It was the same thing on the first TD of the game.

We punted zero times. We didn't score on a grand total of one drive. That one drive he was stopped not because Dak didn't deliver the ball on time in place to get a first down. But because our star receiver dropped the ball.

So I'm not sure how in the hell anyone could claim Dak didn't do enough. Especially with a running game that averaged like 3 ypc outside of Lamb.
