It is hard to stop. Just remarking that there was that moment. Their Ice Bowl play.

Wonder what's the most devastating loss for them
  • Crabtree incompletion vs Ravens
  • Garoppolo overthrow to Emmanuel Sanders
  • This game
I think it's probably the 2019 Super Bowl. They were in control of that game for about 3 quarters and just fell part in the 4th.

Incorrect. Bama was down 7. All scoring a TD would've done was tie the game and send it to 2OT. They would not have won.
My bad. I was thinking of a 4th and 2 Michigan converted with like three minutes left in regulation.

Kittle, Deebo and Aiyuk combined for 8 receptions for 86 yards

Deebo 3 rushes for 8 yards

Props, KC Defense

If we want a blueprint, that's it right there. Our defense needs to be much better than it's been.

We need a DT, 3 LBs, and probably another pass rusher before we even think about offense.

Buddy Ryan or Bud Carson.
I think it's those two plus Belichick.

What he did against the 49ers and Bills' offenses in 1990 to help the Giants win a SB was outstanding.

And for as much as some might want to downplay his role in the Patriots' success during the Brady era, it was his defenses that time and time against stymied the best QBs and best offenses in football during that run.

I forgot about him. Belichick is probably the answer.

Cowboys and 49ers now both 5-3 in the Super Bowl.

It's pretty close, though, whose losses are more collectively heartbreaking. Both of us lost twice to a single team. All Super Bowls were winnable.

But ours is long past. Theirs is present. Misery loves company.

Last week I read a couple of articles that listed the price of Super Bowl tickets from year to year. You'd think maybe the price jump is linked to the NFL brining in A-list musicians to perform at halftime but tickets were actually pretty affordable up until about 10 years ago.

Hell, 5 years ago I kicked around the idea of going to the Super Bowl in Atlanta because the tickets were "only" $2K. In 5 years since that Atlanta Super Bowl the average ticket price has increased by 400%.

Basically what it looks like is that it's just corporate greed and these assholes are going to keep jacking up the price as long as idiots are willing to pay $10K for a 4 hour football game.
I spent 6k for 2 nosebleed seats at Jerry World.

I don't think we need 3 LB's but we need one properly sized one to add to Clark and Overshown at the very least. I think Zimmer will use Parsons in more traditional LB spaces than Quinn did, and if you add someone like Josey Jewell, plus Clark and Overshown, that should be enough even if Parsons is more or less splitting time between LB/edge rusher.

But yea, they need to actually do something legitimate in FA this year, particularly because Zimmer is going to need a different sort of personnel than what Quinn was comfortable with.

Sign Grover Stewart, Josey Jewell, DJ Wonnum and Mike Danna (none of whom will break the bank) and you're in fucking business.

Yeah, we need one legit LBer. Sure we probably need a combination of 3 or so between free agency and the draft just to round the room out. I mean I think with Zimmer we will want to have 5 LBers on the roster. Right now I can think of 2 guys on our roster that will be there next year. So I see where the 3 LBers number comes from. But ultimately we need one really good LBer. The rest can be day 2/3 draft picks, lower end free agents or whatever.

I do want some depth in case it takes Overshown a long time to get back to health and form.
