The 49ers and Eagles were both top 5 in time of possession, thanks in large part to their run heavy offenses. I think Dallas will be fine.

First point, thank Christ they aren't going to waste money on Schultz.
We are going to sign a broken down obj for cheap and call it a splash.Y’all need to get over this Amari regret. Goof Son told y’all how it is.
Good I don’t want an undersized TE. The problem is someone always jumps in front of the cowboys in the draft and takes our guy.
I keep going back to that interception in the playoff game versus the 49ers, but that is a perfect example of what Mike McCarthy is talking about. It's 2nd and 2 and we are in scoring position, but not only are we trying to score there, we are also trying to ensure that we leave the 49ers with no time left on the clock to score before the half.
As long as he stuck around, somebody did.I never once thought Ogletree was a starting WR.

The example that will always stick with me is that 2013 game vs McCarthy's Packers. And just like Garrett before him, Kellen Moore really struggled with situational football.

Ya but McFatty said he wants to score less and win games 6 to 3 and its not 1950a FoOtbALl anymore /twitterlemmingYeah, I don't get where all the pessimism is coming from regarding Mike McCarthy's comments the other day.
There was nothing about what he said that makes me believe that we're going to turn into this 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense.
Anyone who has watched the Cowboys since Jason Garrett implemented his offensive scheme knows that it wasn't just that we didn't run the ball enough, but it was also when we did and didn't choose to run the football.

So the call there should have been to run the ball, but at the very least, we NEVER should have gone to a 5 wide empty set knowing what the situation was at that time.
THAT, to me is what I got from what Mike McCarthy said the other day and I couldn't agree more.
Like Simp said already, I think it's really silly that people could take what he said and think that we're going to turn into a Bill Parcells type offense.
I'm really excited to see what the unit looks like with better management and more practical playcalling.
In a since deleted Tweet, he said he also thinks about plays while fat humping his wife.
I never believed Brown was either.I never once thought Ogletree was a starting WR.
