Cool story...I would like to hear more.

I do recall Tomlin was all over his ass at the workouts.

Back to the discussion, I think there is a big difference between Willis and Richardson.

Like Richardson is on a completely different platform as an athlete.
He had at least 10 members of his family there. A bunch of us were talking to them, and they were saying that Pittsburgh was telling them that they were really interested in him, so they were really shocked when they passed on him.

Yeah I don't think Richardson is going in the third round either. But players get over hyped sometimes. Especially QBs and then everyone acts shocked when they aren't picked top 10. He is on a different level from a size perspective alone. Guy has really good size but runs really well too. He also has big time arm strength.

No question those are things teams fall in love with. But it's also hard to get past a guy who just wasn't very good in college. The other things the guy just totally falls flat in. Which is kind of crazy. Usually you can dominate college football by just being a pure freak athlete. He couldn't do that.

And it's not like he played at a shit school with no talent around him. Levis at least has that excuse.

5. Carolina Panthers (Denver thru Seattle) - Will Levis QB Kentucky
6. Detroit Lions (L.A. Rams) - Christian Gonzalez CB Oregon
7. Las Vegas Raiders - Devon Witherspoon CB Illinois
8. Atlanta Falcons - Will McDonald IV DE Iowa St.
9. Seattle Seahawks (Carolina) - Anthony Richardson QB Florida
10. Philadelphia Eagles (New Orleans) - Peter Skoronski T Northwestern
11. Tennessee Titans - Paris Johnson T Ohio St.
12. Houston Texans (Cleveland) - Tyree Wilson DE Texas Tech
13. New York Jets - Anton Harrison T Oklahoma
14. New England Patriots - Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR Ohio St.
15. Green Bay Packers - Michael Mayer TE Notre Dame
16. Washington (Red)skins - Darnell Wright T Tennessee
17. Pittsburgh Steelers - Joey Porter Jr. CB Penn St.
18. Detroit Lions - Drew Sanders LB Arkansas
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Emmanuel Forbes CB Mississippi St.
20. Seattle Seahawks - Myles Murphy DE Clemson
21. Los Angeles Chargers - Jordan Addison WR USC
22. Baltimore Ravens - Zay Flowers WR Boston College
23. Minnesota Vikings - Deonte Banks CB Maryland
24. Jacksonville Jaguars - Lukas Van Ness DL Iowa
25. New York Giants - Quentin Johnston WR TCU

26. Dallas Cowboys - Dalton Kincaid TE Utah
Let's replace Dalton Schultz with another Dalton. Schultz, who played on the franchise tag in Dallas last season, could leave in free agency, in which case the Cowboys must find a replacement. Kincaid, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound player with great hands, could step in and be a comparable pass-catcher from Day 1. He caught 106 passes and had 16 scores for the Utes over the past two seasons, and he makes tough catches look simple. He torched defenses down the middle of the field, and he has improved as a blocker. Dak Prescott would love Kincaid's ability to find space. Kincaid might even be the first tight end off the board.

I thought again about running back Bijan Robinson (Texas), but I think I found a better fit to get Robinson into Round 1.

27. Buffalo Bills - Bijan Robinson RB Texas
28. Cincinnati Bengals - Luke Musgrave TE Oregon St.
29. New Orleans Saints - (San Fran thru Mia, Den) - Darnell Washington TE Georgia
30. Philadelphia Eagles - Calijah Kancey DT Pittsburgh
31. Kansas City Chiefs - Broderick Jones T Georgia

Kincaid is legit but there's almost no chance we pass on Robinson after what Stephen said.
I agree and frankly Jerry has shown his affinity for RBs. He wants the next Emmitt, Zeke or whatever. It's not just about winning although Robinson would certainly help us win games but it's also about marketing. For Jerry it's always going to be about the marketability of the triplets. He wants a star QB, RB and WR. Which granted I know it's hard to see with our lack of first round picks at QB. But I think that's why he clings to the QB when he has one. We will see if Bijan makes it to us though. I have my doubts, the guy gets a ton of hype, so my expectation is he is going to go higher than projections are showing right now.

I'm not sure what it is about these TE's. I like a lot of them but none blow me away feeling like they are going to be a real impact on our passing game. It could just be that there is such a group that will all be there when we pick that none truly stands out from the other. Or it could just be that the NFL has shown that they will lets great TE's slip to the second round and later. I'm not really sure but I'm just not excited about any of the TE's in the first. Maybe after the combine when some of these guys impress running I'll start seeing it differently. A TE running in the 4.4's can suddenly make you feel better about them, right or wrong.

Kincaid is one of the few TEs I'm familiar with and he was beastly, even against good competition.

If it falls like this and Robinson isn't the pick, they're idiots.

Yeah I had him in there but he is not for every defense so I downgraded.

Once I got to the 20s, it was a crapshoot.
