He has a lot of talent to work with there but with a shaky OL/running game I think they'll ultimately struggle to win at the highest levels.

Yeah I mean it will definitely be interesting. I don't think he will have any excuses if he can't make it work there. You're not talking about an offense with no talent that he has to sort of conjure things up for.

Don't let Philadelphia's ridiculous luck bring you down, Quinn returning and Moore getting the boot was literally the best case scenario for this offseason.

I don't even care who Moore is replaced with or that McCarthy is going to call plays, it's still much better than keeping Moore.

Combine that continuity on the defensive side with the state of our roster and there's every reason to expect this team to be one of the top 2-3 contenders to go to the Super Bowl from the NFC next year.

Throw in that the 49ers are going to lose their DC, along with probably several position coaches, and all we need is for a team to poach one of the Eagles coordinators and we'll really be in business.

And yet we were easily the 3rd best team in the conference this year with very little separation between us and the top 2.

Given that the 49ers will lose their DC and other position coaches, while the Eagles should also, and we should be in good shape.

I think it's a positive development that Moore is being replaced and I'm happy about that.

That said, I don't think it's a good day for Dallas when Philly makes the Super Bowl on that day.

I'd take another year of Moore over Philly making the super bowl. It's great to move on from Moore and all but it doesn't guarantee anything for us and it's still possible we take a step backwards next season.

Meanwhile Philly is in the Super Bowl and nothing can change that now.
