that's pretty significant turnover.
Oh boy, people are being taken to the wood shed!
Yeah.that's pretty significant turnover.
And yet not a word of the change that would actually make a differencethat's pretty significant turnover.
Edwards and Philbin are surprising, hopefully they get backfilled and don't just promote the assistant OL coach or whatever.
Oh boy, people are being taken to the wood shed!
This is what teams do.And yet not a word of the change that would actually make a difference
The assistant OL coach Blasko is still under contract. And he is a Fat Mike protege.Edwards and Philbin are surprising, hopefully they get backfilled and don't just promote the assistant OL coach or whatever.
I just want a new offense with no Garrett stink on itThis is what teams do.
McCarthy is coming back. Quinn is a goner.
I just hate it when we have multiple job openings at one time.
It makes me very nervous.
Moore has not been hired by anyone else yet.I just want a new offense with no Garrett stink on it
I just want a new offense with no Garrett stink on it
Is that a requirement?Moore has not been hired by anyone else yet.
would you let your OL coach go if you were keeping your OC?The OL coach hire is crucial.
Yes.Is that a requirement?
Philbin might have just been old and they let him retire.would you let your OL coach go if you were keeping your OC?
This is probably it. We haven't shown the balls to actually fire anyone yet. That or we are just too cheap to fire coaches so we just wait for their contracts to expire to let them go.Philbin might have just been old and they let him retire.
He did a decent enough job considering.
It is just strange that now Pollack is kicking ass in Cincy.
That is pretty much what we do.This is probably it. We haven't shown the balls to actually fire anyone yet. That or we are just too cheap to fire coaches so we just wait for their contracts to expire to let them go.
It is being a bit dramatic to say all of these coaches were fired. Jones hates to pay coaches for not coaching and that is why you tend to see them fade away versus get outright shitcanned. Not happy about Philbin. Still not sure why he got so much flack when I think he did a very good job. Look at all the injury problems they had with Tyron and uncertainties in the middle of the line and they still played well. Biadasz came along. Tyler Smith did great as a rookie changing positions. And of course everyone gives him credit for developing Steele from a nobody into a premier run blocking RT.
Like booze said, maybe he was just ready to retire. I hope it's that and not that he was forced out.
