that's pretty significant turnover.
Yeah.

And Quinn hasn't even been hired yet.

You know what is a pattern, we revolve around coaching contracts.

It is like we have a salary cap for the coaching staff too and we have Goof Son managing it.

And yet not a word of the change that would actually make a difference
This is what teams do.

McCarthy is coming back. Quinn is a goner.

I just hate it when we have multiple job openings at one time.

It makes me very nervous.

Edwards and Philbin are surprising, hopefully they get backfilled and don't just promote the assistant OL coach or whatever.
The assistant OL coach Blasko is still under contract. And he is a Fat Mike protege.

Is that a requirement?
Yes.

They are not going to fire a coach that is getting all kinds of attention.

That would be a bad look.

It is all part of how Jerry Jones operates.

would you let your OL coach go if you were keeping your OC?
Philbin might have just been old and they let him retire.

He did a decent enough job considering.

It is just strange that now Pollack is kicking ass in Cincy.

This is probably it. We haven't shown the balls to actually fire anyone yet. That or we are just too cheap to fire coaches so we just wait for their contracts to expire to let them go.

That is pretty much what we do.

Take a close look. You’ll see.

Not happy about Philbin. Still not sure why he got so much flack when I think he did a very good job. Look at all the injury problems they had with Tyron and uncertainties in the middle of the line and they still played well. Biadasz came along. Tyler Smith did great as a rookie changing positions. And of course everyone gives him credit for developing Steele from a nobody into a premier run blocking RT.

Like booze said, maybe he was just ready to retire. I hope it's that and not that he was forced out.

It is being a bit dramatic to say all of these coaches were fired. Jones hates to pay coaches for not coaching and that is why you tend to see them fade away versus get outright shitcanned.
