Makes you wonder why he would ever be a Cowboys fan.

When you live in Ohio and neither team has been good for almost the entire time they have existed you have to pick someone. There are a lot of Cowboys and Steelers fans in Ohio. Pittsburg is close enough to get tv coverage, Cowboys have been a prime time team for forever.

Same reason a lot are. Liked them in the early 1990s, now not so much.

Lebron was 11 when the Cowboys last won a SB. Could be a contributing factor.

The whole thing seems to be how they value ROI. But Gallup deserves some slack. He is probably not 100% and even if healthy he is still not a WR1. It is not his fault the Joneses are paying him like one.

So Martin is saying he is better than Doug Free or Collins. Good to hear but his choices aren’t stellar. It is a great point to lock him up soon though.

$12M or whatever a year is nowhere near WR1 money, the top 10 paid WRs are averaging like 22/year.

Joseph has been good on STs, I still think he's a flake and wouldn't want him playing 60 snaps a game on defense but maybe he can grow into a starting role in a few years if he can manage not to kill anybody.

You could tell in that Chargers game last year how good of a run blocker he was. He still has a ways to go in pass protection although I'm fine with an average pass protecting RT who is a dominant run blocker.

I think he's an RFA next year but he's probably right after Diggs in terms of guys who need long term deals.

I think it's a great sign that he's playing such a good gunner. He easily could've gotten down and semi-quit when it became apparent he wasn't going to start at corner like he wanted to, but he's poured himself into special teams. The old Parcells model of proving yourself on ST first is still a good one. Maybe this gives him time to mature. He definitely has the athletic ability.

Im mildly impressed at his performance on ST, his ego kinda in check. He needs to get on the defensive back field, especially since Lewis is out.
