Im with you. He's one of the few coaches I find enjoyable to listen to. Hes done a great job with this defense too, after MM's hire gaffe with Nolan.

If this season ends up roughly how I expect (defense continues to carry us, offense remains uneven and doesn't show up as much against better teams, wild card or divisional round exit) then our next HC should be Quinn or Payton.

This assumes that Quinn would leave in the offseason if we didn't make him HC. That's not a certainty, and I'd be fine keeping McCarthy as our HC as long as Quinn is the DC, but if we have to make Quinn the HC to keep him then so be it.

McCarthy remaining as HC without Quinn isn't really an option to me unless we make at least an NFCC run.
