How about Dorance Armstrong being the most double teamed pass rusher? I guess it’s because lines up inside a lot and is probably still “edge” enough to make the cut for this graphic.

Why is Randy Gregory not on the chart?
He got high

Gregory's been out since week 4 with an injury.

Considering Dorance breakout, Stephen looks almost competent re: his handling of Gregory
You mean contract year.

No, he still looks like a bumbling idiot. The fact remains he wanted to sign Gregory to a significant long term contract and had an agreement and tried insert an insulting clause at the last second that the player is sensitive about, and wound up losing the player over it. The fact that he got lucky with cheaper players like Armstrong and Fowler is beside the point (and also has more to do with having Parsons than anything).

Just like how they would have taken one of the corners over Parsons if they could have, or Connor Cook over Dak.

Exactly.

They didn't get shit right, they just got lucky.

This approach will come back to bite you in the ass 9 times out of 10....we just got lucky this was that 1 exception.

Sounds like I'm in the minority but I'm totally unimpressed with Zeke. Yes, if it's 3rd and 2 he can give you those tough yards through traffic, but that's about it. He's so slow now. When I watch other games, he's like the backup heavier RB who gets 5-6 carries a game while the starter gets a break. He kind of reminds me of the guy in Detroit now that Green Bay had to spell Aaron Jones.

I would understand if Elliott had burst and balance. He really doesn’t have either and just chugs for whatever is there. He can’t create yards anymore.

With our pedestrian WRs, we have trouble making big plays on offense. It would be nice if we could make one in the running game when things are blocked up well. With Zeke, even when you do catch them right, those are maybe 10-15 yard runs.

Pollard is pretty much our only guy on offense who can do that, and he doesn't get enough carries for the odds to be very good.

They finally got Pollard more touches last night and it actually seemed to open things up a little bit for Elliott once the OL got into a bit of a groove.

Elliott is massively overpaid, we know this, but he's a good short yardage/goal line back. He's been money pretty much all year in those situations in some big spots, it's not his fault that the coaching staff overuses him.

I'd be fine bringing him back next year if he takes a reduced salary down to like a $5 million cap hit because there actually is a very specific, valuable role he could play.

Then draft someone like Jahmyr Gibbs in the 2nd, let him and Pollard pop off explosive plays, and bring in Elliott as the hammer for one last year.
