I don’t know why it is a debate. Yes Rush has held down the fort and has done an excellent job avoiding turnovers. The fumbles could have killed the Rams game.
Again, all anyone is looking at is the winning streak and not the actual statistics behind it.

This is NOTHING like when Dak reeled off 11 straight or whatever it was.

I'm not surprised to see and hear Joe Fan and those mouth breathing idiots on ESPN say this, but I am very surprised to hear it from Troy.

If Rush looks like crap Sunday night, which is very possible, I think there's not any question.

If he somehow has a big game and they win... There's at least some question.

The real issue is which Dak do you get? If you get last year's New England one, there's still no question. But if you get this year's Tampa one?

To me there is no question whatsoever.

We've been doing just enough to get by on offense during this streak and what we've done isn't sustainable.

Just ONE turnover might have changed the outcome in any of those games -- that's how little our margin of error was in those wins.

You're not going to win many games waiting until the second half to score your first offensive TD and/or not breaking the 100 yard passing mark until late in the 4th quarter.

We're not going to be spotted 10 points every week by the defense and ST to start the game.

Once Dak is ready, he needs to play.

The question isn’t if Dak should start when healthy, the real question is how much leash does Dak get if he plays like the first half Bucs game?
Well the key is whether or not he took some good mental reps just watching. If the play calls remain similar, he needs to process just as fast.

He is weeks away but it looks like we can add this guy to our defense this season, which I had my doubts about.

Exactly. If you get the first part of 2021 Dak like we all hope, we're off to the races. But if he's the Dak we've seen the last six or seven games, there are no guarantees anymore. That stretch is longer than just a little slump. It will be time to start asking serious questions about him.

Agreed, but hopefully he gets a week or two of practice before being Rush'd back in.

The team is functioning well right now, I don't care how bad our bus driver's stats are.

TYFSWNTBS

I'd rather he get up to speed in practice for a week or two when healthy enough to throw.

If he plays like shit right out of the gate, what are you going to do? Try to put Cooper Rush back in?

We still can’t stop the run between the 20’s. Good to bend and not break, but that catches up to you fast when your offense can’t score
You're right, that could improve. I think the DTs are better than in the recent past. Could be better.
