Just prepping that piggybank for paying Parsons 3 years from now, the cap is real you know?
This isn't about the cap. It's what Jerry spends on overall payroll. Coaches, players, doctors, trainers, equipment staff. All of it. Richest sports franchise in the entire world, and we have the 3rd to lowest payroll. That should boil any Cowboys fan's blood.

Dallas is a cancer. Nobody should come here at all and the front office makes it more apparent every year.
Maybe this speaks to Jackass Jones.

There is NOONE...NOONE...not one single person on this earth who wants the Dallas Cowboys to win a Super Bowl more than this guy right here.

Yea, they need the cash flow to give Parsons 35/year, this is known (by Stephen only, just ignore the fact that this is the supposed highest valued team in the world).

Almost made a new thread for this but I didn't want to, so I'll put it here.

I got a family member's Prime password to watch the TNF games, so I thought I'd watch that old All or Nothing show.

What did you guys think about it back then? How did it compare to Hard Knocks? The very first part about debating drafting Lynch seemed pretty real. But how the EFF do you not have all that worked out ahead of time?

I thought it was way better than Hard Knocks, though nothing can match the glory of seeing Dave Campo in a wet suit at Sea World and singing My Girl.

I've watched a few of them now and I think that draft board bit in the first two minutes was the best part of the series.

Did anyone else think one reason Jerry liked Paxton Lynch so much was because he had a grandson named Paxton? :doh

I don't know if I can finish this. Way too much Garrett. Cringe from the first scene.

All Or Nothing was a better show IMO.

They really need to just saddle him up and grind him down. That means more two back sets. Make him an extra blocker if we need it.
YPC would be a more meaningful stat to me at this stage of his career. He's getting less carries per game thus less yards per game.

Take his salary out of the equation Zeke can still be a very valuable back.

There are some games and teams where he has it and can grind out 5 yards a pop. And you know it early on.

Then there are some games/teams where he might be struggling a bit and Pollard is getting chunks. Those are the games TP should get the bulk of carries. That was last week. Just wish they'd adjust in game to this shit. There will be some games where Zeke is the better option and some where TP is and you know it by the end of the 1st quarter. Then go with the guy who is hot.

Well the point I was making by posting that was that he is clearly in a state of decline. I see it. I don't try to go find a reason to justify why him and his nose rings are consuming a chunk of the cap and making it harder for an already anxious cheapskate like Stephen Jones to field a team that is built to truly win now. That was such a bad, bad contract.
