Because the new guy might fire Judge, and they inexplicably want Judge to stay. Not improving after firing Garrett should've sealed his fate.

Caldwell is not that bad of a coach, he took the Colts to the Superbowl and took the crappy Lions to the playoffs twice and has a winning record of 36-28 with the Lions which is honestly impressive, there is alot of worse coaches than Caldwell

I agree, teams should give new head coaches 3 years contracts to prove if he is a good head coach or not
