Don’t touch that dial, folks
If we are moving up into that range, it better be during the draft for a falling player. We are talking big fall, like Neal.

for sure but IMHO a guess if you will only move up would be a premier cant miss OL/DL and that may be a few spots i doubt they are moving more then 3 sports but if they have name or two and he is 3-4 spots from them i could see a move up..if not we could use talent everywhere, stick with BPA...

I'm thinkin' the big boy from Georgia, but a fatso in the middle is so unlike them.
Davis would be a fantastic pick! But yeah, the Jones' can't comprehend such non flashy necessity. They could watch the San Fran game a thousand times and it still wouldn't register.

Trade up: Davis, Ekwonu, Neal. If we trade up and miss, fallback is Travon Walker or Cross. Not a fan of London or Wilson as fallbacks, so really they can't trade up and miss.

EDIT: If they trade up for a CB... I melt down

This is stupid. I very much disagree. If I had to rank the defensive needs it would be more like DE/Pass rusher, DT and then probably LBer. Not saying I wouldn't take Lloyd but it wouldn't be a pick based on need. DE/Pass Rusher is by far the Cowboys biggest defensive need and I think the Cowboys recognize this.
Yeah, not sure how folks are not getting that DLaw turns 30 tomorrow and there are no other reliable starters at any position up front for Dallas.

The idea of trading up for any of these guys turns my stomach.

I am worried as everyone else regarding WR, but it would be idiotic to give up draft assets trading up. If one is there and is value, great. If not, figure it out. Neither London or Olave appear to be talent that you couldn't get practically any year at the position.

Cross is at a position of need, but is he worth trading up for? He can pass block at a high level, but he is not ready to step into the NFL and run block with Leach's system constraints.

I'm with you, turns my stomach too. And I like WRs and I like these WRs. But they aren't worth trading up for. And frankly neither is Cross. He looks like a LT prospect you will find most years who goes between 10-20. Not the most physically imposing dude. Athletic enough to be a good pass protecting LT but not necessarily with special qualities.

I'd be ok trading up for an OL or DL but if they trade up 10ish spots for a WR it'll end up being a Claiborne-level mistake in my opinion.

Cross, Thibodeaux or even Penning, I'd be fine with, not exuberant or anything but I'd get it. My real question would be where are they going to start someone like Cross out?

I could see Penning maybe fitting at LG with the idea of moving him to LT in 2 years, but Cross seems like a OT only.

That would bloody suck, unless the trade up value was a 4th. The dropoff from Cross or London to Green or Burks is not that great. Not like it would be with Davis or Ekwonu

Motherfucker, I’m going to be pissed tomorrow night aren’t I?
I think it's the combination of the top-weak nature of this draft, our lack of ammo, and our ignoring high tier free agency that is going to leave everyone frustrated.

Except Cowboys haters

Calm. Its a Fish report.
Fisher is 10000% full of shit but the trade up talk has seemed to come from a couple different angles the last few weeks, and Jerry was saying some weird shit yesterday about thinking outside the box.

He specifically mentioned a player who could compliment and enhance what Parsons and Lawrence can do, which I'm hoping was a reference to Davis, who would of course be one of my top choices if we traded up.
