If we trade up it had better be for a defensive player, presumably Jordan Davis, Lloyd or Karlaftis.

Trading up for a WR would be just completely insane and trading up for an OL seems unnecessary given that there are 7 legit 1st's and it'd take a crazy scenario for them to all be gone by 24. Maybe someone like Penning would make sense if they think he can play OG and then transition to LT, but even that's a bit of a stretch.

Your motherfucking ass better not.
Unless it’s for Davis if he falls to 15 or so

I’m building for the future because this team isn’t getting to the Superbowl and definitely not winning it without overhauling the defense.

With Davis I think the defense could potentially be good enough to carry us to a Super Bowl run with Quinn pulling the strings. We have basically the entire group back from last year except Gregory, but will have added a dominant presence in the middle to stuff the run and open up Parsons to be rushed from all over in clear passing situations.

It's unlikely, and it'd have to be done in spite of the offense to an extent, but a potentially dominant defense with a decent QB like Dak could be enough.

Not going to listen but In sure it went something like this: we want to trade one of the 5ths but could be talked into next years 1st.

This sounds like trading up from the 2nd into the late 1/early 2 range, presumably to go OL if we went elsewhere at 24.
This I would be okay with depending on how far we are trying to move up.

It's funny cause it's true.

he might finally mean it this year given all the somewhat surprising moves to cut or move on from his pet guys like Gregory, AC, and Collins finally getting rid of Cwill and cutting Zurlien, wilson, turner, and Jarwin. its the type of year i can see Jerry making more moves in the draft for players to fill larger holes then usual.

Those extra fifth rounders will turn him into Riverboat Jerry
They might be able to get another 4th, but unless it is in the top three rounds, why bother?

Remember when he traded down, then back up to draft Quincy Carter? Good times.

They need more picks in a draft that is thick in the middle rounds, not less.
disagree

i believe i rather have 5 blue chip types this draft then 9 bodies. one the draft is over then you can fill any depth voids with leftover Fas guys that have yet to be cut post draft and also June 1st cuts.

quality over quantity

With what draft capital are you going to use to get an additional two premium picks?
