YesSo all they need now is a FG right?
NoDak has Jackson as well.Of course Jackson was my fantasy QB and I was one point ahead as the game looked like it should have been over about 10 different times, and then of course he fumbled in OT to give me a one point loss.
And yes I know nobody cares about anyone else's fantasy team but this was too crazy not to post.
And I'm just saying that is McCarthy to a T and always has been.I'm a little bit with Smitty in that I'm okay with the no-run strategy for this game because of the particular opponent, but if the trend continues against teams without such a good run front, I'm not going to like it. Reminds me too much of Garrett letting the other team dictate your entire offensive game to where you look back and you had 60 passes and 8 runs. Old Man Parcells said it matters how many times you run it, not just how many yards you get. I acknowledge the game has changed some since then, but I still think there's something to that.
I think you are misremembering. Our OL was abysmal those years and we definitely did not have a quality rushing attack. That's because when Romo did it it was often at the expense of a functional rushing attack.
I remember quiet a few times the passing game wouldn't be clicking but they were able to run the ball pretty well, yet Romo and Garrett would still try to force the passing game instead of leaning on what was actually working.
I remember bitching because we'd call around 10 running plays the entire game and average 4.5 ypc but Romo would still be back there slinging the ball 40+ times with spotty results.
This was mostly a problem from 2011-2013.
hey now, youre trashing Jerry's mentor.I have to admit, the Raiders have always been my number two.
And it is sad to see what the fuck happened with Al Davis and now down to his disgusting child.
