We cant have those things. If you want to push the pocket to keep QB's from stepping into throws you need actual starting caliber DT's.
From start to now, Prescott has been better. Period.Wentz was better than Dak in 2017, but Dak wasn't that good that season. Wentz had coaching that made him look better than he was.
That's because when Romo did it it was often at the expense of a functional rushing attack.Well I remember Romo getting shit for it when it didn't work out so well.
It's funny to see how reactions are different.
You can't have what you don't understand. We cant have those things.

instead of leaning on what was actually working.
Exactly. That's because when Romo did it it was often at the expense of a functional rushing attack.
I remember quiet a few times the passing game wouldn't be clicking but they were able to run the ball pretty well, yet Romo and Garrett would still try to force the passing game instead of leaning on what was actually working.
I remember bitching because we'd call around 10 running plays the entire game and average 4.5 ypc but Romo would still be back there slinging the ball 40+ times with spotty results.
This was mostly a problem from 2011-2013.
Lackluster pro careers seem to be a pretty common theme with Alabama and Clemson defensive players.
Agreed but I don't think that'll be the case.I'm a little bit with Smitty in that I'm okay with the no-run strategy for this game because of the particular opponent, but if the trend continues against teams without such a good run front, I'm not going to like it. Reminds me too much of Garrett letting the other team dictate your entire offensive game to where you look back and you had 60 passes and 8 runs. Old Man Parcells said it matters how many times you run it, not just how many yards you get. I acknowledge the game has changed some since then, but I still think there's something to that.
I preferred Wentz honestly. But the proof is right there and it isn't just about his injuries.I never liked Wentz so I agree. I was more saying the fact that Dak is better right now is not due to Wentz having been injured as Smitty seemed to be saying.
Prior to either of them having a pro career, I think everyone would have guessed Wentz. Gingerboy messed that up all by himself.I preferred Wentz honestly. But the proof is right there and it isn't just about his injuries.
Top is an alien, bottom is a 70's pimp.Weirder looking QB...Derek Carr or Lamar Jackson?
