He did have 7 catches for over 100 yards and a TD, but yeah he had a couple key mistakes. Not a shocker because this team never plays a clean game.
True but it happens. The Bucs dropped some too. Lamb is better than those drops but he also made some big plays when we needed them. Young guy just needs to clean that up.

Do you think every team plays a clean game every week? The Super Bowl champs sure didn’t play a clean game either. 4 TOs and about 6 dropped passes.

That's Zeke's contract. That's the choice we made.

Nah. You think we would have taken that money and used it in free agency? Pshaw.

The choices we made were in the draft (Taco over Watt, Joseph over Samuel, etc.), not Zeke's contract.

We could have signed guys regardless if we wanted to. We didn't want to.

The officials will be a problem until there is some form of punishment. Start taking their money for blatantly horrible calls, then they’ll think twice about inserting themselves into the outcome of games.

That push off changed the game and was blatant.
they knew Zeke wasn’t going to win those battles So they didn’t try. I kind of admire that. We beat up Garrett all the time because he would have kept trying to smash Zeke down their throats to “establish the running game”
Is #FZeurlein trending yet?
Good game lost by a kicker. Sounds about right. This D played pretty darn good

Can you imagine how popular a Wednesday night show would be where it’s all about the officials and bad calls every week? There has to be enough of them to fill an hour long show on one of the networks.

I don't know if it stood out on TV but Parsons looked like he is far superior to Jaylon Smith.

These three things/plays stood out to me.

1. On the Bucs 1st scoring drive Jaylon came into the game when the Bucs were inside the 10 yard line. I'm not sure why the coaches felt to bring him in in that situation. 1st play that he's in....TD right over the middle while he's running around aimlessly.

2. Parsons covered the swing passes out to the flats extremely well from what I could tell. But when Smith was out there the Bucs got a lot of free yards out on the edges.

3. This one really stood out to me and shows the gap between the two LBs. On the first play of the 4th qtr the Bucs have the ball and Jaylon Smith is in the game. It's a handoff to Fournette who runs up the middle for about 7 yards. Fournette was at least 3 yards past the LOS before Jaylon actually advanced towards the runner to get in on the tackle. He wasn't held up by an OL or anything. He was just extremely slow to read and react to the play. A few minutes later around the 12:20 mark Parsons is in the game and the Bucs run Fournette between the tackles again. Parsons immediately reads the run and fills the gap and lays a big hit on Fournette to stop him for no gain.

That 3rd point is why I've said I expect the rush defense will be a lot better even if we didn't do much at DT. Parsons ability to read and react to plays is light years ahead of Jaylon.
