I've been a pretty pessimistic fan for quite some time now, so this ought to tell you something....
I cannot recall the last time the cowboys won a game and yet I was more annoyed, frustrated, and discouraged after that win.
There were so many dumb and inexplicable things that happened today that I can't feel good about this result even as someone who believes you don't apologize for winning.
And the reason why I am so upset about it is, they operated for most of this game as if they were trying not to lose as opposed to trying to win and I cannot for the life of me understand why that is.
We used to rip Jason Garrett a new one for every time that moron settled for long field goals and yet I don't recall even him making up his mind with 30 seconds to go that he was OK with kicking a 56 yarder.
The feeling of victory can often leave a team blind to their flaws and my concern is that these guys aren't going to realize all of the blunders they made today that would lose them games 99% of the time, with the lack of urgency on that last drive being at the top of the list.
That's the most discouraging win I think I've ever experienced.
