Steele is holding up well on the outside. I'd be pissed if I were a Chargers fan and Bosa couldn't dominate that scrub.

Kellen Moore is starting to show just how good he can be now that he doesn't have Garrett's stench on him.

He always showed promise, but there would always be a dumb call here, poor situational awareness there, etc.

But now he's really putting it all together and I'm starting to think it has a lot to do without Garrett's influence no longer being an issue.

Remember we were loving Kellen Moore the first couple games in 2019, especially the Miami game, and then it was like emergency brakes and we reverted to basic vanilla offense?

There is a noticeable difference. McCarthy seems to allow him to do his thing.

The other thing I really liked about him was the accountability.

Every time Garrett would make some bone headed play call down you're the goal line or something like that, he would always deflect because that was just his thing.

It's "our" fault.

I can't remember what game it was last year but Moore committed a similar mistake. But after the game he specifically mentioned how he needed to get better at situational play calling.

The guy looks to have a good head on his shoulders.
