No.Clay Allison could be in consideration for an HOF'er too.

I mean, I feel like he would absolutely not fit in anymore, whereas I feel like sbk would. If Carp wants to say the things here he says on twitter it would be about 10 seconds before he and you ended up in a massive fight.I wish he would come back. I would like to chatter with him about some stuff. He has removed himself from my social media, so it might be nice to reacquaint.
I don't want to go too personal here, I know we are not supposed to really share from other social media stuff where our personal info is more obvious, but I think Carp's said some stuff about being diagnosed bipolar (which for all I know may be the issue with someone like sbk as well).Wow. That's crazy. I never would have expected that from him.
I always liked Carp. It's too bad he lost his damn mind.
The ironic thing is that the overriding point of Gangs of New York is that the groups we divide ourselves into are fleeting and the very people Bill the Butcher was railing against had assimilated a generation or two later and had became the ones railing against a new group, so on and so forth. It was a thread that was talking about immigration and such. Sbk back in the Bush presidency days tended to be antagonistic to Republicans because he hated Bush, but by 2008 or so/the Obama and Tea Party era his views had more aligned with where Republicans had come around to. He was a marginally big Ron Paul guy. As you can see with his Zone avatar, where he adopted the Avatar of "Bill the Butcher" from Gangs of New York (and I think he probably does see himself as aligning with that character on some level), he's relatively pro-America and was anti-immigration.
EZ ended up in a relationship or married to a Mexican woman. Whereas they had once been very close, I think the relationship between EZ and sbk broke down because EZ's significant other saw while the board page was open some of the very harsh things sbk had to say about immigration - but again, things that, I'd warrant, most of us on here right now probably agree with on principal (ie, these people should not be here illegally and immigration should be a very measured approach and not a free-for-all).
They got into a big fight about it and at some point, in expressing how disgusted he was illegal immigration, he said something along the lines of how he'd curb stomp a mexican to keep them out of this country if they didn't belong here.
It's the kind of comment that really can't be defended and of course set EZ off completely because he felt the implication was that sbk would essentially kill his wife, which for all I know may have been the exact implication sbk was intending.
But again, it was essentially a political debate that got personal and I understand the genesis of being anti-immigration to the point where you feel like the left is trying to overthrow the country and you must respond with violence. Iamtdg here says frequently how he feels like it's coming to civil war. I think in a more asshole-ish way, that's pretty much what sbk was saying with that.

I'm sure that's not really lost on him or any of us, but the point remains. The ironic thing is that the overriding point of Gangs of New York is that the groups we divide ourselves into are fleeting and the very people Bill the Butcher was railing against had assimilated a generation or two later and had became the ones railing against a new group, so on and so forth.
And, somehow I feel like it would end bad for him.I mean, I feel like he would absolutely not fit in anymore, whereas I feel like sbk would. If Carp wants to say the things here he says on twitter it would be about 10 seconds before he and you ended up in a massive fight.
Within two seconds: The judge in the Rittenhouse case "loves teenage killings," and a few tweets down accuses him of attending KKK meetings.
Read for yourself.
Perhaps. I'm not really advocating we reach out to him and bring him back. And, somehow I feel like it would end bad for him.
It's probably lost on him.I'm sure that's not really lost on him or any of us, but the point remains.
It felt so weird when it happened. I almost thought it was a joke like the EZ/Carp joke fight that ended up in "Abracadabra, dipshits" quote. It was a thread that was talking about immigration and such. Sbk back in the Bush presidency days tended to be antagonistic to Republicans because he hated Bush, but by 2008 or so/the Obama and Tea Party era his views had more aligned with where Republicans had come around to. Jesus. Read less than a minute and don't need to see any more.
Read for yourself.
Sad to see, to be honest. I have witnessed it with my cousin, and it was equally unnerving.Jesus. Read less than a minute and don't need to see any more.
Seeing where he things the prosecutor in the Rittenhouse case is good, and is a compelling, great public speaker is more than enough to see he's lost his fucking mind.
Yeah seems like most Liberal posters don't stay here long or stay out of the politics section. Politics drove Jiggy batshit crazy. He didn't use to, but he does now, incessantly. Perhaps why he stopped posting here: the guy would not last ten seconds reading literally anything in our politics section.
You thought Bipo was bad with his leftist trollings, Carp tweets basically nothing but MSNBC talking points slamming the right and all it's members - gun owners, white people, religious types, etc.
Think you're confused, Carp is the R turned D and SBK is the beaner-hater, two different guysit probably predates me
strange that he hates Republicans and Mexicans. most libs want to erase the Southern border entirely.
So pretty much a political debate taken too far and he said something very nasty about Mexicans. I get why he wouldn't be wanted here.It was a thread that was talking about immigration and such. Sbk back in the Bush presidency days tended to be antagonistic to Republicans because he hated Bush, but by 2008 or so/the Obama and Tea Party era his views had more aligned with where Republicans had come around to.
