I was thinking about this earlier. I remember Stephen or someone recently mentioning that LBer isn't worth a top pick unless he can rush the passer. Well who is the most talented pass rushing LBer in this draft? Parson clearly. I think there were more clues than we realized. The LVE thing also should be a clue we liked Parsons more than anyone realized.

We we went into the draft desperately needing help with our run defense. We just helped our run defense immensely.

He wasn't even on my radar until the Senior Bowl. He certainly is now. I would be ecstatic with him in the 2nd. And, Moerhig, Holland and Grant are all still on the board, so unless there is a run on safeties, we could get lucky and have one drop. I would take any of the 3 and be happy.

i would absolutely love to draft one of those three with our second. but i'd be willing to bet that we go corner there. let's just pray that one of those safeties is still there at our first third and we pull the trigger then.
