I totally agree. The coaches probably watch film on a handful of players. Or they fall in love with a guys personality. They can't see things from a distance like scouts do who evaluate a lot of college talent year round. You don't pay an expensive chef and then try to cook your own steak. It makes no sense.

It's a perfect example and an awful one all at once. Trysten Hill is the last of that guys fuckups thankfully. We are still paying the price on the D-line for that guys input. The sad part is he is a good D-line coach. He just couldn't stay in his fucking lane and let the scouts do the work.
