Our Brian Urlacher.
Our Brian Urlacher.
this really bums me out. I was really hoping Mitch Hyatt was gonna make that leap this year.
what might Brown have over Smith? I cant think of anything when it comes to playing WRI wish Noah Brown would just go away.
Blocking is itwhat might Brown have over Smith? I cant think of anything when it comes to playing WR
makes him a telegraph of a run play, otherwise he never comes on the field. Im sure he's a ST ace.Blocking is it
Anae is definitely a pet cat of mine. I'm excited for this young dude.
Same here. He's one of those late round picks who you kinda expect to make the final roster.Anae is definitely a pet cat of mine. I'm excited for this young dude.
I'm sure. And considering the Cowboys are playing around with some 3 man fronts, I wouldn't be surprised to see him used a little as a OLBer/Pass Rusher in those odd fronts.Won’t Anae be used mostly as a pass rusher?
Secondary lost a stud corner in Jones and was counting on one of the rooks or Canady to step up and be quality depth behind Awuzie, Lewis, and Brown.I didn't view him as a starter for this season either. I thought he'd be our 4th best CB this season as I think the experience and talent of Brown, Chido, and Lewis would be too much for him to overcome in season one.
Is it wrong of me to temper my enthusiasm with Smith? I just don't want to get unrealistic hopes for the guy since he's been away so long. That's not a typical recipe for success.Aldon Smith and Greg Zuerlein are the biggest surprises of the offseason thus far.
Great draft, solid FA haul, and brilliant signing of Griffen. But Smith and Zuerlein came out of nowhere, especially Smith.
I would temper it for now. Our OL situation so far in camp has been a mess. I am waiting until I see him in live games before I get too excited. Is it wrong of me to temper my enthusiasm with Smith? The guy seems to have fallen back into his professional football self, left his baggage in the past, and salted it all with the wisdom of age.Is it wrong of me to temper my enthusiasm with Smith? Yeah I agree with this. It's hard when they aren't going against NFL caliber OTs.I would temper it for now. Our OL situation so far in camp has been a mess. I am waiting until I see him in live games before I get too excited.
So by extension good pass rushers should be getting consistent pressure then. Relative to the rest of the team Smith seems to be ahead as a pass rusher at this point.Yeah I agree with this. It's hard when they aren't going against NFL caliber OTs.
Oh I'm already thrilled that he is here, showing he isn't totally washed up and is staying out of trouble. I'm just not ready to get too excited that he is the old double digit sack guy yet.So by extension good pass rushers should be getting consistent pressure then. Im good with high single digits... 7+Oh I'm already thrilled that he is here, showing he isn't totally washed up and is staying out of trouble. I'm just not ready to get too excited that he is the old double digit sack guy yet.
