I don't love Nirvana but they are a million times better than Green Day. Did someone say otherwise?

The only band more annoying than Green Day is the Offspring

If you look at our schedule and the current draft order I just can't see how we don't end up picking in the top 7 given that we are going to have the tiebreaker over anybody outside of our division.

You have 2 loss teams like Atlanta, Minnesota, New England, the Chargers and Bengals who have all been very competitive recently. You can almost guarantee they're all going to win at least 2-3 more games, while I think 5-11 is our absolute ceiling.

The games between us/the Giants/Skins will probably decide who is picking 3 vs. 5 vs. 6 or something.

What a terrible offensive coaching job that was.

I know they had a limited passer, but that gameplan and that playcalling was suited for a guy who had no arms.

The ensuing drive after Diggs' second pick was probably the best drive of the game. It was they only point where it looked like they were in control.

And yet with a 2nd and 8 at the Philly 26, these dummies decide to run another end around type play that the Eagles predictably picked up on since it was the 4th such play of the game.

The Cowboys lost 10 yards there and basically their chances of winning the game with it.

Like Collinsworth pointed out, had they just continued to play conventional football, they likely finish the drive successfully.

The reason why this is notable is because of what it says about this staff and their ability to be better than what was here before. And right now, I can't say I'm all that confident even going into next season that this staff is going to get better results than Garrett did.

The coaching continues to disappoint and leaves a ton to be desired.

The 5th pick actually, while two of the teams ahead of us (Jacksonville/Houston) play next week, to go with our auto-loss to Pittsburgh.

The situational play-calling by Moore was horrendous. That sequence you mentioned as well as going 5-wide on 4th and 2 with a literal invalid at QB. Of course he got into coaching under the watchful eye of Jason Garrett, so that explains a lot.

And most importantly, barely any play-action. I mean, it is literally mind-boggling that with defenses keyed in on Elliott and the run game we only go play-action maybe 3-4 times a game, if that.

I am very frustrated by Moores play calling. I just feel like McCarthy should be anthe one calling the plays. Moore is a Jason Garrett clone that leaves zero protection for the QB. Going empty is fine but you still have to mix it up and keep the defense guessing. Whats the point of having Lamb if your going to take away the middle of the field and throw to the sidelines on every pass play?

And if Atlanta and the Giants win, it will put us either 3rd or 4th.

No, no. Run to the sideline, stand there, and then throw it away. Get it right.

This game was probably the best case scenario.

The defense showed some life, the supposed defensive "cornerstones" (Lawrence/LVE) finally looked good, Diggs showed why he's a long-term keeper, the Eagles looked just as shit as they have all year, the team in general didn't quit and finally played something resembling a normal NFL game. Most importantly, we didn't win an unnecessary game and are now slotted in for the 5th pick, and I personally think it's more likely that we end up in that 3-6 range than 7-10.

I mean, we had 100+ yards rushing, the defense gave up 15 points and got 4 turnovers, but you literally can't run an NFL offense with a QB like DiNucci at this point in his career. Maybe in 3-4 years but not right now, so it is what it is.
LVE had one tackle and a sack. The sack is nice of course but 1 tackle? That isn't good. He is rusty as hell.

Yeah, I really hope our players keep fighting, young guys keep developing, lessons are learned to make major improvements next year, and we keep losing.

Before the end of the year, he has to take over. Just to see a difference.

Tool is greatness because they change cadences so damn quickly and often, but it makes the general public find it hard to keep up with. I have been a drummer since I was kid, so I understand just how fucking hard that is to do, and so I appreciate it even more.

Yep, he is amazing. The only drummer in modern rock I think that compares is Joey Jordison formerly of Slipknot.

For the first time I can remember, I went to bed with the Cowboys holding the lead. I knew they would fucking blow it, and they didn't score a single point after I went to bed. Bunch of fucking losers. I hope they lose every game the rest of the way. I'm fucking done with this shit show.

You know it was going to happen. Just pass the time until next season because its going to be more of the same. Dalton would probably have won the game. Dak would have definitely won the game. Dinucci is nowhere near ready for games and I doubt he ever will be.

I did know it was going to happen. That's why I went to bed. No reason to put myself through that.
