I go to the office with the regular flu or common cold, but I'd just stay at my desk coughing and weezing, pounding Robitussin, get my work done without much horseplay and then go home.I would treat it in the same manner as if it were any other viral infection because that is all it is. I wouldn’t go around anyone without warning them or being completely restrained from touching anything without gloves. I don't have any more respect for it than any other infectious virus or bacteria. If it’s something contagious the it should be isolated and not expose anyone else. It’s my opinion that COVID is overhyped as to the dangers and I believe statistically the mortality numbers will bear that out. It’s not any more dangerous whether there is 1000 or 100000 are infected the danger is no greater.
With this coronavirus, though, I'm guessing I'll be punished for showing up to work sick, whether it's coronavirus or common cold.
What am I supposed to do...get a covid test for every time I fell under the weather just so I can justify my presence at the office?
