Yes. We would be winless were he not on the team and would be getting blown out in all four games.
So we're 1 game better than we would be if I was playing qb and he's carrying the team? I'd be a lot more convinced if he wasn't turning the ball over so much.

Amazed that the Steelers have yet to recognize Fulgham as a threat.

Well guys, we can say that Dak is carrying the team now.
I'd say our passing game in catchup mode makes it look that way.

We need our passing game to be stronger earlier in the game to set up the run.

Instead we're consistently turning over the football on strip sacks and dumb fumbles.

The defense was built to play with the lead. We have to have the lead for that to happen.

The Cowboys 2 wins have come against teams with a combined 0-10 record. And they had to fight and claw to get those 2 wins :lol

I don't know what to think about the Arizona game. They appear to be more fundamentally sound than the Cowboys so that should buy them 3 points right off the top.

Arizona will probably curb stomp us.

Dalton can play. The question is can our defense do anything? I would feel a lot better if we had anybody else at corner.

I don't think the defense was quite as bad yesterday, they gave up 300 yards, the Giants scored 14 points directly off turnovers and hit 3 50+ yard FG's, which is very rare.

They weren't amazing by any means but even adjusting for the opponent I thought they were better than previous weeks, which isn't saying much of course.

The previous week they put up 295 yards against a decent Rams defense in a tight game, so I don't think the performance yesterday was abominable as it has been most of the year.

It is frustrating how hot and cold Jaylon is, and it's infuriating how he acts after he makes a good play.

Saw #44 in there a couple times, but he was subbing for Thomas...who is actually making plays consistently.

Jaylon played great yesterday. But I can't help but feel it was because the Giants offense is predictable and sucks. I did see some guys playing a lot harder yesterday. Even the pass rushers were flying around.

We knew that was going to happen and still gave up 24. Next week we will be back to our regularly scheduled suckage.

Agree with you on this. The DL generated pressure pretty consistently. The run defense wasn't great but they did a better job than last week.
Sounds like there's a good chance LVE comes back next week. So that should help.

One of the biggest problem that continues to plague this team are the turnovers on offense. At this point I don't know if it's fixable. Here we are 5 weeks into the season bitching about the same turnover issue week after week. I think it's time to accept that this is who they are this year. A mistake-prone team that gifts their opponent 2 turnovers each week.

Yep, the Cardinals offense is really good. They run the ball, they use misdirection and they have really good receivers. They will push our shit in with that offense. Again, hard to even care much at this point. I like Dalton but we would need a Colts like defense and running game to have a chance to go anywhere with Dalton. He isn't a carry the team kind of guy.

I've only watched bits and pieces of Cardinals games this year so I don't have a good feel on how much misdirection and play action they run. With Kingsbury as their coach I can only assume that it's a helluva lot more creative than anything Garrett is drawing up in NY.

Next week will be a challenge for Jaylon and the other LBs. The good news is just glancing at their stats, their passing game looks like it's D-Hop or bust.

Poe is still fucking useless. Amazing how he gets pushed 5 yards off the ball with his fat ass.
