That's the truth of it. Just because Nolan is terrible doesn't mean Marinelli was good.

The truth is we've gone from bad to worse, not good to bad.
Of course, but I wasn't making the point that Marinelli is good.

I'd probably try Knight / McGovern / Biadaczcsczczcz / Martin / Williams
We have drafted a number of O-lineman relatively high. Third round, fourth round and second round. It's time to find these guys at their best positions and let the changing of the guard start. I think you need to kick Williams out to OT otherwise he is a bordline bust at this point. I want to see what he looks like at OT so we can at least consider how big of a need OT will be after this season. If he blows at it than OT goes to the top of the list of needs in the offseason. If he can at least be servicable or solid at LT you still potentially have a Williams, McGovern, Badass, Martin and Collins O-line that could be really good .

This is pretty retarded. I guess Ochoa thinks he's making a good point, but it's actually the opposite.

This is exhibit A why we need to pay Dak or any QB as little as we can reasonably manage to do.

That extra handful of millions a year can make a big difference in the quality of backup OLineman you can sign, and it can help your defense too.

Don't want to carry the team on your back by yourself Dak? Don't try and squeeze every red cent you can out of the team and they can afford to field a defense and quality depth.

Yeah it's starting to feel more like those Packers teams where Aaron Rodgers had to carry everyone.
Thing is, Rodgers never had a historically bad defense like this.
Then again, wasn't the DC Dom Capers at the time? They could always at least get a few timely stops on D.

I'm not sure, I remember them having some pretty awful defenses. Probably not as bad as ours is playing right now but pretty bad.

We need linebackers. He might be worth taking a shot at for a mid-late round pick.
To do what? Salvage this pathetic season before it costs big money to keep him next year? Giving up future draft capital that we clearly need?

No thanks.
