Apparently, it's too much to ask of the players to expect them to go all out on every play. Jesus Christ, this team.

I bet this is a result of McCarthy giving the players a little talk before the season where he emphasized the importance of peaking late in the year and keeping a steady upward trajectory rather than lots of peaks and valleys.

Of course these lazy chucklefucks took that as license to half ass it because "they have time to get better".

I think the defensive players are making up excuses instead of taking accountability and it really bothers me. This is just there way of saying, we are tried, we are on the field for too many plays.

Well they're only on the field as much as they are because they suck, outside of the first quarter against Atlanta and the second quarter against Cleveland.

Pass.

I'm actually tired of traveling the retread route. I'd like to see them actually do some real research and find an up and comer. Someone with modern ideas on how to defend modern offenses.
I don't want the 3-4 either. We need to stop with the extreme system changes that don't fit the players.

This seemed like a good idea at the time.

Anyone who runs a company or has business sense knows dysfunction starts at the top.
As long as a Jones runs this team, I believe we will always be 2 or 3 steps from contending for any type of Championship.
Honestly if we had Jerry the GM from the Jimmy days we would probably be a lot more competitive because Jerry was more afraid of failure back then because his entire livelihood was on the line.
Now thanks to the millions of dildo Cowboys fans who buy tickets, buy everything Cowboys, and the suckers in Arlington....Jones is perfectly ok with failing on the field. He just sails off in his 23 billion dollar yacht until the next game starts.

Feh.

I just think they are an entitled mess thanks to ownership.
