I look forward to all the equally stupid McCarthy bashing; I suspect I’ll quickly become known as a “McCarthy lover,” and be accused of unreasonably sticking up for him again and again.
lolwut? Cmon man we all know it's going to a season of passive-aggressive remarks after any perceived McCarthy mistake absolving Garrett

Cause I’m bored. And with no actual calculations that these W-L records balance out....

NFC East

Dallas 12-4
Philadelphia 9-7
Washington 7-9
New York Giants 6-10

NFC North

Minnesota 10-6
Chicago 9-7
Green Bay 9-7
Detroit 4-12

NFC South

Tampa Bay 11-5
New Orleans 11-5
Atlanta 6-10
Carolina 4-12

NFC West

Seattle 11-5
San Francisco 11-5
Los Angeles 7-9
Arizona 6-10

Playoffs - they don’t get expanded till next year, right? So dumb.

1) Dallas
2) Tampa
3) Seattle
4) Minnesota
5) New Orleans
6) San Fran

San Fran over Seattle
New Orleans over Minnesota

Dallas over San Fran
New Orleans over Tampa

Dallas over New Orleans

Dallas over Buffalo :)

Fucking McCarthy.... Idiot! God!
You're going to be unbearable this season, aren't you?

If McCarthy has a bad call at the end of a game or a poor gameplan and they lose a game as a result, we'll all be right to criticize him for it.

But no matter how bad it gets, it will never ever be as bad as Garrett, and there isn't anything you'll ever be able to point to that will make them similar.....at all.

Nor will any potential McCarthy blunder mean, as bad as you want it to, that Garrett isn't and wasn't the terrible coach and liability that he was for 10 years -- an argument I know you just can't wait to make at the first chance you get.

Sorry to disappoint you, but you can save that BS because nobody agreed with you before, and nobody is going to agree with you later.

Fuck Garrett.

You know the first mistake McCarthy makes it will be all, see Garrett wasn't that bad!!

People hammer on the same old tired shit here all the time.

Why should Schmitty be singled out like it's some kind of taboo thing to do?

Translation: ~nah nah nah nah nah I can’t hear you i can’t hear you ~

Yes, I’m always convinced by such astounding logical points as “it will never be as bad as” and “can do nothing as bad as...”

You are jilted.

People are already breaking out double standards.

Others are already lining up to play the same blame game on the coach. I like how we are already identifying McCarthy’s weaknesses. He underutilizes safety, apparently.

No, he doesn’t. More underserved coach blaming from a fan base that maybe doesn’t understand what THEY are watching. Not the Super Bowl winning coach.

What is this even all about, we signed a legitimate starting safety in FA. Sure, I would've liked Vonn Bell as well or if Winfield dropped to us in the 2nd but it didn't work out that way.

It's not like we just passed up Derwin James for Taco Charlton or something.

You have a funny way of showing this. Your "completely behind Dak" is completely lower than your Romo support.
Romo wasn’t on the team after that game.

And... as I explained... the regular season just isn’t the same thing. You need your QB to take over games. That wasn’t going to happen with Dak.

And stop endlessly quoting stats.

They are next to meaningless most of the time

"You back people off the run with scripted plays and when they are off-balance, you destroy their soul with Zeke."

Which is it -- QB takes over or destroy soul with Zeke?

I won't mention Demarcus Lawrence with 5.0 sacks here, but this sounds like a guy defending Eli Manning for the HOF.

I capitulate. :)

Demarcus wasn’t the same guy last year as he has been— and he wasn’t playing injured. I agree I used his lack of sacks to tell that story, but he did not play at a high level in 2019.

And Eli is without question a slam dunk HOFer just like Tony Romo with his 4th best all time career passer rating is not and probably should not be one.

I suspect Lawrence will look alot better after not sandbagging an offseason using surgery as a negotiating ploy for a long-term deal.

I don't give two shits what some kid in their basement is reporting to Cris Collinsworth for PFF.

Smith is not in control when he rushes. He is arms and legs everywhere and he overruns plays a lot when he is asked to blitz.

This is a very very bad plan.
I mean he has only been playing for two years removed from a major injury. Let’s see how he does this year. He and Vander Esch played very well two years ago but the whole defense played pretty bad last year. Maybe it was more on coaching. We will soon find out, I’m willing to let it play out first with this new staff and see.
