Very well said.

I'm going to go on record and say that he finishes with 10.5 sacks next season.

Maybe that's being over optimistic, but I feel hopeful that he'll be better than advertised.
Well, considering Taco and Lewis were the two best players on Michigan's defense in 2016, I can't be happier. Taco was also playing with a high ankle sprain for most of the season, and his play improved as the injury healed. That's not a coincidence. Now, is the best DE on two legs? Of course not. But very few people expected him to last to 28. Hell, many mocks had him going to Cinci at 9.

Perfectly said, and given where we drafted I think that he's a great pickup for us.

Charlton doesn't need to have a lot of sacks to be effective. He just needs to be disruptive consistently. That will be pretty effective and he has the size and strength to do it.

That sounds good to me
Hopefully without the fluke nagging early injury history.

The Bengals have been patient with Dunlap, and it's paying off. He's a real DE, not one of these 250 pound sack specialists that mainly show up on passing downs.

I loke the fact that he got better each year and even improved a lot his last year.

If Charlton turns out like Dunlap, it is a win.

I liked Washington's draft, but I don't know if it was necessarily better than ours. The potential to be is there on paper, but IMO it's a much riskier draft than ours. Outside of Jourdan Lewis, the players we took are pretty risk free. And even Lewis' situation I don't think is much.

Washington got some talented players, no doubt. But their draft does have some health and character risks.

All in all, a nice draft. But it does come with some risk.
There are risks, but I was just basing it off of consensus grades. Not bad if we have the 2nd best draft in the division drafting last.

That is true.

Here is sort of my opinion of the Redskins draft:

Jonathan Allen - He seems like a steal at the pick they got him. I'm not going to hate just for the sake of hating. He is a perfect fit for a 3-4 end. It's not often that you see a 3-4 DE capable of getting double digit sacks and that is what he did in college. The one question of course is his medicals. The other minor problem with Allen is that he is somewhat limited physically. He isn't that tall and he doesn't have the longest arms. Physically he doesn't look like your "prototypical" 3-4 DE.

Ryan Anderson - Another Alabama defender and this one I think is hugely overrated. A really, really average prospect who benefited from a defense that has continually made pass rushers look better than they are. He may play for them but I doubt he will have any significant impact. I'd be pissed if Dallas picked him in the second round.

Fabian Moreau - Excellent pick in the third round. Hell I would have been fine taking him in the second without hesitation.

Samaje Perine - Powerback who I actually like as well. Probably went in the area he should go. Not the fastest guy in the world and ran a slow forty but he was super productive in college and his playing speed is faster than his timed speed. Could be their new feature back.

Montae Nicholson - Bad player with good measurables? Best description I could come up with. I guess in the fourth it isn't the worst but I wouldn't be happy if this was Dallas's pick.

Sprinkle - Bad hands, bad attitude and personally a TE I wanted nothing to do with in Dallas.

The rest of their draft is a bunch of nobody shot in the darks like you see with most sixth and seventh round picks.

Anyway 3 of their first 4 picks were right on the mark in my opinion. But I think their second was a wasted pick and after their draft kind of goes no where after that.
