Don't forget the draft riots during the civil war. Those were Union men who were killed.

Sweet. Here come the Bipo memes.

Always good for intellectual value in a discussion because they are so factual in nature.

In addition to teachers, I was also inferring legal-age-to-own high school students and college students as well.
Yep. Had the guy that stood in the way of this lunatic shooting up people in Oregon has a gun maybe the idiot wouldn't have killed so many people.

legal age to own high school students don't exist, at least for handguns.

It's 21 to own a handgun, bro.
It's not 21 to ever possess a handgun, it's 18. It's illegal to buy a handgun before age 18 from a licensed gun dealer, but a handgun can be purchased at age 18 and higher in a private transaction, and it's legal.

That's a weird distinction, but you can't get a concealed carry permit under 21 either so the point still stands, in this state at least.

Wrong again. There are states where concealed carry is legal at 18.

Who cares if the law says he can't conceal carry? He would have toted those guns in there and shot people anyway. Goes right back to the fact that lunatics bent on doing harm don't give a shit about any laws you throw at them. The heinous part is the murder. The easy part (which I doubt these lunatics even care about) is the petty offense of carrying illegally.

Huh? The topic was about high school students carrying, and if they could legally. He first said that 18 year olds couldn't legally own. Then that they couldn't have a concealed carry permit until they were 21. After you said to phil that you were ok with students carrying if they were 18.
