    Video Game Chatter

You can find time to play, but for me, I get a very limited amount of time that is "mine" now. Usually after the kids and wife go to bed. So, you can sacrifice sleep and play video games, but that is the only time to watch TV, read, get anything done, etc. Wait until you have more than...

Not really. They've been doing it for years. Here is 2001: https://www.espn.com/nfl/columns/pasquarelli_len/1354627.html Here is 2013 to 2016 (25th) https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/look-nflpa-salary-cap-chart-shows-patriots-are-money-smart-eagles-arent/ 2017 (last)...

    Cowboys Free Agency Thread

I brought this up before and someone argued with me about it. Dallas doesn't spend, but is masterful at creating the impression that Jerry would do anything to win except for that darn salary cap. I don't think they are dumb, they know how to make money. So I have to think their dumb cap...

    New Coaching Staff Thread...

Witten is lost, I think. All he's ever known is football. He sucks at TV. His career is over. OK, now what? Coach I guess. I like Witten, but he's never struck me as bright enough to be a coach. Romo? Sure.

Yes. He's followed Linehan around some. Linehan was his OC at Idaho. Nussmeier worked on his staff in St. Louis.

Some random names from this article: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001084451/article/expackers-coach-mike-mccarthy-eyes-nfl-return-in-2020 Jim Haslett and Frank Cignetti would supposedly fly up to GB to talk shop with McCarthy this offseason. Cignetti was hired as OC at BC, but maybe...

    Garrett Watch Thread...

Well, absolutely the Jones are the real problem. That doesn't mean Garrett isn't a problem too. He's proven he isn't a successful coach (and was given plenty of time). Jeff Fisher has made it farther in the playoffs. The frustrating thing is that I have no real hope it will get better...

    Garrett Watch Thread...

I'm too dumb to figure out multi quote apparently, but I wanted to include @Sheik's Zimmer odds post in there too. I think Jerry is dragging it out to see if Zimmer gets canned. Then he moves on from Garrett. I know Wilf sort of endorsed him recently, but that doesn't really mean anything...

    Garrett Watch Thread...

I really hope Garrett is gone. But I have a bad feeling we'll get something like Zimmer and Norv Turner as our replacement. I don't think a new HC would work in Dallas. Needs to be someone with the balls to tell Jerry/Stephen, etc. to back off. Which is basically what he doesn't want.

    2016 POTUS Election Thread

I actually think it is less about race and more about the appeal of Trump to the average, hard working middle class American. I think the group that turned out in droves for him is probably that group that is typically hard working, but is seeing their way of life (and standard of living)...

Cowboys' offensive line is NFL's best bargain, key to offensive success

I guess that is what I am trying to say. I don't think it was a priority or a master plan of Garrett's to rebuild this dominant running attack via a superior offensive line through high round draft picks. Like I said earlier, they wouldn't even have drafted 2 of those players had things fallen...

Cowboys' offensive line is NFL's best bargain, key to offensive success

I've already shown that, of those three, he really only planned 1. If he gets credit for the line, why is Claiborne on Jerry? 2013 was an OL rich draft and he ignored it after 1. Only after all their plans fell through did he address it in 2014

Cowboys' offensive line is NFL's best bargain, key to offensive success

I'm glad it worked out but it makes me laugh that people think building a great OL (and running game) was some master plan of Garrett's. I'll give him Smith and all the credit due there Frederick- he was perplexed and pissed at that turn of events. It was obvious on the war room cam he...
