    Micah Parsons Traded To Packers

Another facet of all this is that if Micah had just taken the deal on the table, what was their plan at DT? In hindsight they're making DT out to be a huge deal, which is true, but if Parsons had taken the deal would they have done anything besides cross their fingers and hope at DT? Pick up...

    Micah Parsons Traded To Packers

At the end of the day we didn't get enough value but it wasn't as bad as the over the top outrage that followed. It got completely blown out of proportion even if the underlying fact was true. If they had managed it better (i.e. quietly tested what the market was weeks or months ahead of time)...

Kenny Clark - Week 14 at Detroit

    God damn right.

    Micah Parsons Traded To Packers

Myles Garrett is actually the guy in the LT/Reggie White tier but he doesn't seem to get that hype because he's in Cleveland on mostly shitty teams. Parsons could end up there if he keeps ascending, but if he has another 4 years like his past 4 I don't think that's quite it.

    Micah Parsons Traded To Packers

I think generational means different things to different people, to me it could be used on a prospect who is arguably the best at their position in the last 5-10 years, or it could mean a clear 1st ballot HOF'er. In that sense I think Parsons is probably going to end up being "generational"...

    Eagles Stuff....

I'd guess Diggs will only play nickel/dime, which will probably be about 60-70% of the snaps. I think we could go heavier base defense in this one compared to the average game given how run-heavy the Eagles are.

    Eagles Stuff....

Nolan Smith last season was less productive (sacks, QB hits, TFL) than Sam Williams was in 2023 on a per-snap basis. The Eagles DL is probably one of the most overrated units in the league right now because people just assume it's going to be what it was last year, like they didn't just lose...

    Eagles Stuff....

They have Nolan Smith and a bunch of JAGs for she rushers, and I'm not even sure Nolan Smith is that good.

    Micah Parsons Traded To Packers

I think ravid is saying he's elite but not the clear best in the league, and not in the historic pantheon of greats as he's sometimes billed.

    Micah Parsons Traded To Packers

I agree that I don't think the perception of Parsons, nor the reaction to the trade, would be as dramatic if he were anywhere but Dallas.

I noticed that too, I think he's going to out snap Tolbert, especially given the gadget play stuff he brings.

    Eagles Stuff....

He's playing for his salary so we'll see, someone else would surely pick him up next year (maybe even Green Bay) but he won't be getting a deal as high as what he has here. That might be enough to get a decent year or two out of him. Who knows if he's truly 100% healthy though.

They'll point to how they extended Bland, Tyler Smith, Aubrey, Pickens and Sam Williams (lol) and call it a win. Realistically I'm not sure how many of them would've had to walk if they hadn't extended Parsons, but it sure as shit wasn't going to be all of them.

Yea, if they go out and sign a legitimate FA at a position of need next year (might not be edge rusher, could be RB, safety, etc.), I think you definitely have to give them some props. But I'd be shocked if it happened.

Gonna be fascinating to see how they use him, they seem to have a big role in mind but I'm curious to see how/if they actually make it happen.

So this guy is basically our RB 2 right?

Kenny Clark - Week 14 at Detroit

You might be asking yourself, is this guy really starting a thread about a single game from last season? And the answer is yes, yes I am, because we're about 36 hours away from the opener, I'm tired of talking about Jerry, Parsons and his prissy agent, and if you just care about ball and not...
