Are you not a fan? I thought it was a pretty good way to keep the kickoff but limit the big collisions.
I mean it says you can't move until the ball physically hits the ground. If that's true, then is it a false start?

I like the idea of it, but I hate giving refs more subjectivity on plays.

For sure.

I think this is more like how the kickoff cover team is ruled, though, where they can move an arm or twitch... they just can't cross the line.

And I'm sure the league will have no problem with that, because it will help offenses. They've already said last year's decline was a concern. :doh

Maybe the word "move" is the confusing part.
