He didn't say TJ wasn't elite in so many words, but he refused to put him in his top 5. So I don't feel "Steelers Depot"* is being very unfair with its tweet.

It would be nice if Micah could just say something like, "If you look at the advanced stats, I'm pretty high up there. But in the end, football is a team sport and we went home way too early." Instead he seems to love him some individual stats and awards.

*Oh, and fuck Steelers Depot, by the way.

Zimmer won't let that shit fly at least. I miss the old school coaches like him who if you tell him you're tired he will make you run some more.
Zimm is going to laugh at how we wonder why at 245-280-320-260 we get blown off the line when people run right at 245-280. Especially when 205 and 215 are line-backing.

It's idiocy, yet we kept doing it.

There's a reason that those guys are 3X champions and most of the current group are a bunch of preening ass faggots talking about their brands.
Some of those old players tried to build brands by doing stuff on the side, but Jimmy wouldn't let them. Nate Newton was trying to market a video, and Jimmy told him not to... and Nate listened to him.

The guy knew what it took to maintain focus.

These two better watch out, they are disrespecting the words of an original Hot Boy.

"I don't know what that word is," Brandin Cooks said when informed by 105.3 The Fan of Lawrence's opinion that they were "tired.'' I don't know what that's all about."

Added Stephon Gilmore, mentioning the two teams still playing, with the Super Bowl slated for Sunday here in Las Vegas: "Everybody is tired in the playoffs. Whatever it takes. San Francisco is tired right now. Kansas City is tired.''

I'm curious what the hell Lawrence was getting at. I have to think the comment about being tired was a dig at other players pr coaches because I don't think he was talking about just himself.

Conversely, Cowboys ran the shit out of DeMarco Murray cuz Jones boyz knew they weren't resigning him.

392 rushes is 7th most single season all-time
No need to have a high caliber RB if you don’t use them. The Cowboys
made a mistake replacing Murray when they did. He was just then coming into his own with the Dallas system but couldn’t find his niche with another team because they viewed him as a situational RB rather than use him the way he was effective. Murray was extremely fast getting to the LOS and most effective getting past it. He was never again used in this manner once he left the Cowboys team and became labeled as a worn out RB.

What he was getting at was revealing just how soft and mentally weak he and most of the team are and why they have been failing in these moments for years.

Nothing more than that.

He really fucked up too as evidenced by both Gillmore and Cooks' response to it. And now he can't take it back....I mean, he can try, but he showed his true colors and no one is going to forget it.

The difference between real leaders and a fake one.

I wonder. I would bet he was trying to call other players out but who knows.

It stands out more to them because they just played their first season in Dallas so the culture and the consequences of it are new to them.

They aren't going to buy into the same BS these losers do.

I'd love to draft a Murray type right about now. Murray, Marion Barber just give me one of those types of dudes in this draft.

Well it clearly wasn't a prepared response to an obvious question he had to know was coming.
That's what makes it worse to me -- he seemed nervous when he answered it which suggests to me the he wasn't expecting it which is just crazy to me.

But then again, that's also part of the problem -- I think most of those guys don't see what the big deal is so they probably weren't expecting to be grilled about that pathetic performance.
