A winning formula does not necessarily mean the QB wills their team to the Super Bowl as the MVP.

In fact, it is quite the opposite.
Right. Sometimes they just get drug along for the ride.

That's my point. And I think maybe Geng's, too. That just because a QB makes a superbowl, doesn't mean they are special.

Jennings came to play. Aiyuk did not.

I now feel bad since I gave my gambling degenerate son bad advice about Aiyuk.

Definitely. Doesn't mean he is elite or anything, but it shows that with the right supporting cast he's good enough to advance through the playoffs against top teams. Now about to have two SB appearances with two different teams.
Whereas Dak has not shown he can even drive the bus against the better teams in the playoffs.
What sucks some teams can get lucky and get to the NFCC championship or Super Bowl in spite of players or coaching. The cowboys can’t even get lucky enough to make it past the divisional round. So disappointing

Fair point, but it would also be fair to say that most QBs that reach the SB are at least top 10-ish QBs. Obviously there are exceptions, a la Dilfer, but speaking generally. A QB that reaches the SB with two different franchises is probably that - at least top 10-ish. Not necessarily special.

I've liked Montgomery since the Iowa State days. We need a guy like that.
