I agree with this, but one side thinks that boys should be allowed in girls bathrooms and the other side does not. There is a huge gap in morals. It is not an (R) or a (D) thing.

You know what I mean. They maybe have privately been liberal but they didn't openly display it like they do now. The media of the 70s wouldn't have buried the fact that Russiagate was bogus, or the Hunter Laptop story, because they actually believed in journalism, not being activists.People complained in the 1970s that the media conglomerate was too liberal. It was never truly not partisan.
And the Republicans used to be pro-big business, had strong conservative beliefs and the "American values" you described.
The ones in charge right now are leaning to the edge of Fascism in order to regain the control they lost when the Obama era began.
"Fascism"Good god, man. You say some of the most outlandish shit sometimes.People complained in the 1970s that the media conglomerate was too liberal. It was never truly not partisan.

And there inlies the problem.
It redlined it, but I always thought that's how that was spelt.
Are you channeling the spirit of 2233 here?
Therein liesIt redlined it, but I always thought that's how that was spelt.
It was definitely tadamount to ludicre.God, I'm a damn idiot.
~starts stretching~
It was definitely tadamount to ludicre.

Here is the thing that Beck left out.
The practice of American political corruption did not begin with the Clintons.
It was there in nearly every modern Presidential Administration across to the long generations of Congressional dirt.
It is not an (R) or a (D) thing. If you believe that it is, you are really trying too hard to ignore the facts.
It is not disingenuous in the least.Conflating this with any other time in our history is disingenuous. Tell me, what part is Beck wrong about? And then tell me something remotely comparable from 30 years ago.
It is not disingenuous in the least.
This is Beck trying to sound like he is some sort of historical authority. The government being corrupt is not a recent trend.
As for the last part, you might be right since 30 years ago, nobody gave as much of a hard fuck. But goddammit he is mad as hell and isn’t gonna take it anymore. Peter Finch did it better.
He's trying to make it sound like it's one side's fault. It clearly isn't.You didn't answer the question. What's he wrong about?
Hard to tell the difference anymore.Did they mess up and not post that on Not the Bee?
You can point to tipping points, though. Here is the thing that Beck left out.
