I mean I hope this is true. If they plan to just trot Biden out again they are idiots. The only guy I think Biden could beat is Trump. And that's just because people wouldn't be voting for Biden, they would just be voting against Trump. Biden may be the most beatable candidate that the Left could put out there. Great if they aren't going to let anyone challenge that.

From a nonpartisan perspective though I do think it's shit. It's just bad for politics. So instead of giving this country 2 good options for President we are going to be fucked again with 2 candidates no one wants. Potentially another 4 years of Biden destroying the country sounds miserable. I need to find a way to invest in the economy sucking because I'd guarantee that's where things would be headed at that point.

I think DeSantis would destroy Biden. But yeah, the problem is Trump has enough hardcore followers that will get him past primary no matter what. He just doesn't have enough hardcore followers to win a Presidency because people sitting anywhere close to the middle just won't vote for him. Hell some sitting far right won't vote for him either.

Unfortunately, it's mattering less and less who the actual candidates are. Look at Fetterman in Pennsylvania. It's all a ballot harvesting race now, and the Dems have a far more advanced machine in that area.

The Democrats are smart with manipulation. No question about it. You know colleges are liberal and a lot of students live there. So make sure you have voting locations there. You don't worry about voter fraud because the votes you're getting are democratic and you know if you tighten up restrictions it's going to eliminate those votes. They don't care about legitimacy. Because at the end of the day anyone questioning the legitimacy of an election is going to be labeled a crazy person and no election is going to get overturned. So even if it's not legitimate once you won, you won.
