Because you can't see the tweet, they are tagging Pollard.

I also like Bresee and think his combine performance has probably cemented him as a 1st rounder. Kancy is also a fine choice.I'm workshopping something real nice about Bresee being a dynamic interior presence
I'd have to go back and watch Bresee again. Klancey's tape is crazy good. If he was 6'4" 300 pounds he would be a top 10-15 pick.I'm workshopping something real nice about Bresee being a dynamic interior presence, but at an actual prototypical size compared to Kancey. I'd be fine with Kancey in the first but Bresee is arguably right there with him despite the stats.
Problem is I have no faith in these dullards taking either, probably because their arms aren't long enough or whatever.
The way he looked last year it wasn't a reach. Looked to me like a guy most would love to get in the late second. Who knows what other teams graded him, you can only worry about your own grades.Last year we clearly reached for Sam Williams
Donald had the same knock against him, not big enough.I'd have to go back and watch Bresee again. Klancey's tape is crazy good. If he was 6'4" 300 pounds he would be a top 10-15 pick.
The point is we drafted him significantly earlier than most people had him, and as you said it didn't matter the way he looked and ended up performing. The way he looked last year it wasn't a reach. I prefer the 6'6" 315 pound type DTs who are athletic. But when I watched Kancey, I realized it's not that important to me.Donald had the same knock against him, not big enough.
If the player is talented enough, they can trump size. It's rare, but happens every draft.
Yeah, I have no idea where he would have gone if we didn't take him. He was a wild card because of the off field character thing. I'm not talking about what I think other teams will do. I'm saying those NTs don't rank with me as a first round quality guy.The point is we drafted him significantly earlier than most people had him, and as you said it didn't matter the way he looked and ended up performing.
Once Elon fixes Twitter, you will see that Cowboys Legend Terrance Williams is dominating play in Mexico.

He'll also put on weight at the next level, and I really like his height/weight ratio at 6'1" and 280. Combined with his natural quickness he could be a handful.I prefer the 6'6" 315 pound type DTs who are athletic. But when I watched Kancey, I realized it's not that important to me.
I agree, I just think we can have our cake and eat it too in terms of getting a better prospect in the first and then still nabbing one of these run-stuffers at some point in the 2nd.I also like Bresee and think his combine performance has probably cemented him as a 1st rounder. Kancy is also a fine choice.
And yes you should let the draft come to you, except when you have a clear need and the player is in the ballpark.
Last year we clearly reached for Sam Williams as much as a full round early, but in the end what does it matter when you have no trade partners and you landed a good (and maybe better than good) player at a position of need?
Hardly. Dak is getting older, sure. But there is no way his window is closing like Zeke’s.one possible comforting thought: how much longer can Dak play? His window is closing, right next to Zeke's.
I think it's at least 50/50 that he'll be there, his sub-31 inch arms combined with the lack of height/weight will put people off a bit and there's too much other talent on the DL in the first round for me to say he's a lock to be gone.Yeah, Kancey just set the fastest 40 time by a DT since 2006.
No way he's there at 26
He’s gonna be 30 soon, and been slowed by a serious injury. Misses time with new injuries….Hardly. Dak is getting older, sure. But there is no way his window is closing like Zeke’s.
There’s a big difference between upside and window closing. Two different things. He’s gonna be 30 soon, and been slowed by a serious injury. Misses time with new injuries….
I truly wonder what upside remains for Dak.
