If I tell you to go and punch someone in the face and you don't do it, then what am I liable for? Now if you do it, both of us would be liable but maybe me more so for instigating it.
Trump never encouraged violence? Seriously? The same guy who told people at his rallies to beat up people who didn't agree with him, who told cops not to be so nice when putting suspects in a car, who couldn't help but think he would enhance his tough-guy bullshit persona by having people thrown out of his way so he could go stand in front of a church to hold a book upside down? Really?
The guy's a fucking moron. Despite him being a moron on EVERY LEVEL as a human being, he knew what he was doing that day. And he only called off the dogs after his own family begged and pleaded with him to do it, and after a majority of the damage had been done. Yeah... he's quite the leader.
Superb use of the quote function.
I would only ask a few questions in follow up when you’re speaking about incitement.
Should Bernie Sanders be charged because a supporter of his shoots up a baseball field full of republicans?
Should people like Schumer, Waters, and Pelosi be charged when a liberal brings a duffel bag full of weapons to Brett Kavanaugh’s home to kill him and his family?
Trump has said things off script that are dumb and unnecessary. When he’s at a rally and says something like “We used to handle those(hecklers) differently, we used to drag them out and teach them a lesson.”, is that encouraging his supporters to drag them outside and beat them, or is he speaking to people like everyone speaks to each other? It may be a throw away comment meant to make people laugh, but tell us how many people have been brutally beaten at a Trump rally for heckling.
Trump is a lot of things, but people say he’s a moron. I just don’t see that. You don’t go through life being a moron and end up where he is. Biden isn’t a moron either. Neither is Obama, neither is Hillary. They’re smart people with ideas that are bad and they believe things that mostly aren’t so.
People act like political rhetoric has been ramped up since 2016 and they blame Trump. I seem to remember Biden going to a black church and telling black people that republicans want to put them back in chains. Or telling old people that republicans want to throw them off a cliff.
Trump is polarizing and most either love him or hate him. People who love him excuse a lot, people who hate him believe the worst about him.
An example in your post is all the BS about the church photo OP that was debunked by people who were there. The “suckers and losers” comment that was debunked was a rallying cry in 2020 which never happened. He does and says plenty of shut to be outraged about without latching on to made up BS.
