People bitch about Zeke, but there is not a person in here, if they’re being honest, that wouldn’t have done the same exact thing if in that situation.

Who you should be mad at for that contract is Jerry and Stephen.
Yeah, I cannot hold it against him, the Joneses didn't have to cave under the blistering pressure of him hanging out in Cabo for a couple weeks.

But I can partially blame the nose rings.

Okay, let's just put aside the insanity for a second.

You believe the Joneses are going to just flat out blame the QB for a loss like we had Sunday through the media? Of course they are going to circle the wagons and protect the investment.

This was their decision. This flawed player was their chosen one, just as Romo was before him.

Quite simply, we are not like any other organization. An owner can come out and be passive aggressive at a QB or a GM can, but when they are one disgusting hive mind, they are going to be covering their own asses first. Plus, it is appearing to be another bad contract, but that is another story.

Tenure isn’t the issue. I contend that Demarco Murray was a better running back than Ezekiel Elliot. That is what I contend and believe . I also contend that the videos of each will show that Murray could accomplish things that Elliot cannot such as running wide much more effectively because he was fast enough to det to the corner. Elliot can’t get to the perimeter on a pitch. He isn’t fast enough.
On the contrary, I give the edge to Demarco Murray for running between the tackles and in traffic past the LOS. He had better shiftiness with sidesteps than Ezekiel, who I consider more of a straight-line runner. Both are tough runners, too, usually falling forward after contact. Outside the tackles, I think it’s even if not Zeke’s advantage. Zeke was very good bouncing inside runs outside and his ability on RB screens was also a difference.

Isolated video supporting your claim isnt available, if it was you might have presented it. You are operating on memory and obvious bias. Which is fine. It's your opion, you're entitled. Just as I am to mine, and I have shown you factual data to support my opinion. Your support is much more elusive and subjective. To be expected, I suppose.

Nope. Elliot was slow as fuck. Couldn't get to the edge. Just didn't have the speed to break long gains.

Or something...

Zeke was a hurdler, not a sprinter. His forte was getting the dirty yards, not emulating Dorsett.

Do you realize where you are?
I was not talking about here, jackwad.

I happen to think we keep the really insane shit about this team to a dull roar.

If anything else, we spend a good bit of time to understand the why and what.

That means, most of us here are educated enough to understand that Prescott is not tradeable in basically every way possible.

Why didn’t we franchise tag Demarco Murray?

His Eagles contract was 5YR $40M, $20M guaranteed. We responsibly weren’t going to give a long term contract, but was that year so strapped we couldn’t even afford a one year franchise hit?

McFadden got 2YR $6M contract and 2015 had 4.6YPC, 239 carries

I am sorry y'all, but it is time to shoot this dead horse.

I don't think I can stomach a who was the best RB: Zeke or DeMarco discussion any more. Start a new one if y'all want.

Onto the draft.
