Morten Andersen is a God damned vampire. As long as the game isn’t played in direct sunlight, he’s worth calling.

Even if we don’t go all the way this year you don’t replace him. The defense is finally good and I would like to see what Mike could do with his version of the offense. What he did with the backup QB and offensive line means something. If we don’t make it next week you draft another stud Oline and come back next year mauling everyone. The only reason we are in this boat is because Jerry screwed the WR room.I don't know who needs to hear this, but Mike McCarthy is pretty damn good football coach.
And two of those incompletions were obvious throwaways with nothing there. He was on fire tonight.Take out the three pass attempts (all incompletions) from the first two drives and Dak Prescott was 25/30, 305 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT rest of the way.
I don't think that takes anything away from what he's accomplished. We'll see how he does against a team that isn't the shittiest to make the playoffs in quite some time next week.
The 49ers have been playing teams like the Raiders,Cards,Saints,Seattle etc. we will see where they stack up.We'll see how he does against a team that isn't the shittiest to make the playoffs in quite some time next week.
Eh, there have been some pretty shitty playoff teams. The Bucs weren't good but the Eagles were a shit playoff team last year for example. We'll see how he does against a team that isn't the shittiest to make the playoffs in quite some time next week.
If we beat the Niners next week, I'll be kissing McCarthy's fat ass. But until then, he hasn't accomplished shit. Even Garrett got Dallas out of the wildcard weekend.I don't think that takes anything away from what he's accomplished.
He's won double digit games in consecutive years and has taken us to the playoffs in consecutive seasons under the Jones family leadership -- that makes him the ONLY Cowboys head coach to do that since the 90s.
He just led the team to their first playoff road win since January of 93.
If you're not sold on Mike McCarthy after all that, then you haven't been paying attention to what's been going on in Dallas for the last 25+ years.

You can't just look at how far we went in the playoffs, it's the fact that we went to the playoffs back to back for the first time in 15 years, the fact that we went back to back double digit wins for the first time in almost 30 years, and of course the first road playoff win in 30 years. If we beat the Niners next week, I'll be kissing McCarthy's fat ass. McCarthy is definitely a drastically better coach than Garrett, there's no denying that. You can't just look at how far we went in the playoffs, it's the fact that we went to the playoffs back to back for the first time in 15 years, the fact that we went back to back double digit wins for the first time in almost 30 years, and of course the first road playoff win in 30 years.
It took Garrett 4 years to get a playoff win after three straight 8-8 seasons and every time we went to the playoffs under him we folded the next season.
McCarthy had a throwaway year in 2020 due to the Dak injury and then did something the next two years that hadn't been done in 15 and 25+ years respectively.
He had to win tonight to validate a lot of that in my opinion but now that he has, he's at the very least deserving of some more respect and seeing out his contract unless we completely go in the tank next year and go like 6-11 or something without any major injuries to Dak.
Yep, big time game. Hope he keeps it up. If he plays like that every week this team has a legit shot at a Superbowl. But that's a tough thing to do.This was the best playoff performance we've seen out of a QB since Aikman in probably the 1994 NFCC at San Francisco. Definitely better than any of Romo's playoff games, do with that what you will.
