After the stank we witnessed vs Wash, this performance was impressive. This team was ready, aside from Maher. They brought their “A” game. I want more of same next Sunday to atone for last year’s early exit. This team feels capable of turning it on and keeping it on. Feels really good.

A question that bears asking:

How much different would this Bucs season have looked if the Bucs had kept Bruce Arians as their head coach?

It's widely speculated that a stipulation for Brady returning from retirement was for Arians to be replaced. This is why organizations shouldn't allow players to dictate personnel or coaching decisions. Players don't understand what may be best for them personally isn't necessarily what's best for the team.

In the NBA the Bulls had to tell MJ to stay out of front office business because he was always trying to bring in scrubs with ties to UNC and such. Similarly Pat Riley had to tell Lebron to stay in his lane because he was trying to run Spoelstra out of town his first season in Miami. Spoelstra is now a Hall of Fame coach.

So it makes me think the Bucs probably have a much better season if they didn't bend to Brady's will.

I don't know if they can keep it on but I do expect them to come out with the same focus and intensity vs the 49ers, given the whole revenge factor angle.

I suspect they'll be once again belittled and given little chance to win vs San Fran. Just like this past week. So that should work in their favor. This team needs that chip on their shoulder.

I think the loss to the Redskins was a good thing. May have refocused these guys a little.

Woah!!1!1!!!11 Why the sudden change of heart?
That isn’t a change. I don’t have confidence in Prescott being consistent with his play. I have voiced that previously. Glad to say that today the good Prescott showed up. I hope he can continue in this manner but there’s the next game coming up and I will have the same anticipations.

But of course.
I don't care what he says about it so long as they bring in some kickers this week.

He can't throw the guy under the bus publicly because it's not like there's a surplus of quality kickers out there that we can go and grab so this guy might end up having to kick next week.

And if he is, you don't need him to have even less confidence than he already does.

Jerry Jones has already stated there will be no Gong Show.
