Glad you guys are okay. Sad to hear about the destruction.

It’s very surreal to be this close to stuff that was just news on a television from 1,500 miles away on the west coast.

Shit got real for us yesterday for about 15 minutes. We were watching the live news tracking the tornados when they panned to our town and said we were a possibility for a tornado. It was maybe 10-15 minutes before they then said we were out of the woods, but we prepped the storm cellar and called family back in Cali to make sure they knew we might be unreachable fire a time.

Not sure if you’re from this area of the country, but being new to Oklahoma, we were a little spooked there for a minute. A tornado is no joke.

My father in law came by today and was telling me that most of the tornado threats have been east of tornado alley for the last several years, they tend to miss the area we live in. Great to hear, but also sad to see the destruction they leave in their wake in surrounding areas.

Too late now, but I almost posted yesterday that I thought you were in Idabel. Wasn't sure though. Glad it missed you.

They sure do. I don't know if they can sense the low pressure or what, but they definitely know.

Eek.

The home we bought was vacant for 10 years when we bought it, which is insane to me. I thought our storm cellar was going to need replacing. It had about 3 feet of water in it when I opened the door.

I pumped the water out a few weeks ago and we’ve had several big rains since then. When I checked it the other day it was bone dry.

I’m not sure how all that water got in there to begin with, but I think the door was left open for some time at one point and then closed.

I was told this morning that I need to paint the inside and throw some new light fixtures in and spruce it up. Add it to my list of shit to do.

The house we bought in Idabel was occupied by criminals for 8 years they never made a house payment The found it with a for sale in the front yard pulled it down and just moved in They are in prison now still get mail addressed to them And the neighbors say they were some really nasty people and not Americans and not Hispanic The neighbors said they sounded German

Glad to hear you're okay. I think that's the same system that dropped a tornado outside of Paris, TX where I have relatives. Tornadoes are no joke.
